Have been going to Uncle Andy's for years. We decided to take a trip to check out the new parlor with my parents, who used to bring me there when was a child. All I can say is what an utter disappointment. Upon walking into the parlor there absolutely nowhere to sit inside. There is seating outside with no shade, not a place to eat ice cream on a 90 degree day with 2 older parents. We turned and left and will probably ever return.

I’m kind of confused on how the reviews are decent seeing as it’s 12 dollars for the smallest sundae you’ve ever seen. They didn’t even fill up the cup all the way and they use cheap products and sell for as much as they can :)

Very helpful staff and all the icecream we tried was fantastic. The iced coffee was refreshing.

Amazing staff and quick service. The prices were reasonable and huge portions. Can’t wait to come back. Just keep driving and you’ll find parking.

After years of trying to get to the Don Cesar, I was finally able to stop in to grab ice cream. Though delicious, it was not so good that it was worth the amount of money. I know it's the Don Cesar but it is still very expensive for what it is. That being said, it was satisfying. I had the strawberry cheesecake ice cream and it was lovely. Once I enter a new tax bracket, I will return.

Kids had ice cream one night. Adults enjoyed coffee in the morning. Staff was pleasant and attentive. It is cashless. They also have alcohol, snacks, and some non-edible things like travel coffee cups.

Great breakfast, and service! I got the butter croissant and it was delicious, it was a bit expensive but definitely worth it! I loved the look of the shop, very beachy and cute!

The ice cream is overpriced, the selection is super basic, the flavors are poorly labelled (which is weirdly lazy), the shop is charmless and chairless, the digital menu is busy and switches up so quickly that you can barely see the prices, and one of the servers was cold and inattentive. She gave us the wrong topping (which we accepted to be nice) and then gave us an insincere apology. The hotel is pretty though.

I used to like the old Uncle Andy's, which had seating, reasonable prices, and good flavors of ice cream. Now you have fewer selection and no seating. Smoothie I tried was TERRIBLE. It was mango protein smoothie with lot of fruits in description, but when I saw them make it, it was a POWEDERED mix. They just added tap water!! (Coconut milk that it was supposed to have was even in the powder.) And, it was $12 for a small cup! This makes me not want to eat anything at Don Cesar.

The old location was under renovations, however, they never moved the ice cream parlor back. The new location is small with no seating and lacks the charm that the old location had. There is no reason to visit now. Please return this beloved ice cream parlor to it's original location.

Uncle Andy's was ok. Not much in terms of ice cream. The allure is all of the candy they have and the fact that it's in the Don Cesar hotel on St. Pete Beach. Nonetheless the ice cream tasted good and we enjoyed ourselves at this stop on our vacation in St. Pete.
