I have been bringing my dog to get groomed here for several months, never had to cancel, I had to cancel his last appointment because I was ill and ended up in the hospital. So now when I go to make an appointment they want me to prepay. The girl that answers the phone is normally very rude as it is, however when I asked her when this started she said our computers updated a couple months ago. However my dog had been groomed just a few weeks ago, very poor service with this place. Not to mention I spend a lot of money on toys, extras when he's groomed, and treats. With all the groomers around they've lost my business as well as my recommendations to my fellow fur baby owner friends.

This store is AMAZING! The employees are absolutely spectacular. Everyone is so welcoming and helpful. They have endless options for treats, toys, foods, etc for both dogs and cats. 10/10 recommend this place, it was only my first time there, and they definitely created a life long customer out of me!!!

We have brought our Coton de Tulear here a few times now for grooming and we could not be happier with the service! As he's gotten a little older we were not comfortable with where he had been going, it was taking hours and we do not like to leave him there that long. Bark Life is cage-free, they only take one or two dogs at a time, and he is done in less than an hour. He is so happy when he comes out of there, not stressed at all. The staff is super friendly and you can tell they love every pet that walks in there. Fantastic place!!!

I took my first Shihtzu for grooming for several years. I like it that they only take 2 dogs at a time, it's cage free and you can see inside the grooming room from the store. Groomers are excellent and they love the fur babies. Now my new Shihtzu puppy is going there for an excellent experience.The store also offers everything you can think of from food to toys to things you never thought you needed.

WE TOOK OUR STANDARD POODLE IN 9/11/2022. OMG! I PAY BEFORE THE GROOMING. MY CONFIENDCE! KYLE THE GROOMER. MARY THE OWNER. I CAME TO PICK UP THE POODLE! KYLE SHAVED HER ENTIRE TAIL/POM POM OFF. RRR. KYLE SHOULD HAD CALLED US. WE WOULD HAD COMBED HER TAIL OUT. KYLE STATED WE DO NOT DO MATTED HAIR. EXCEPT WE COMBED HER OUT BEFORE WE BROUGHT HER TO THE GROOMERS. KYLE AND THE FRONT STAFF STATED. NOT TRUE WE DID NOT COMB HER OUT AND IF SHE WAS TAKEN CARE OF. THIS ISSUE WOULD NOT HAD HAPPENED. SO I REPLIED. INCORRECY. I ASK FOR THE HAIR. KYLE GAVE ME ANOTHER DOGS HAIR. UGH!! TERRIBLE CUT YESTERDAY. LAST TIME KYLE FORGOT TO FINISH HER EARS. HAD TO REMIND HIM. WE GAVE HIM A SECOND CHANCE. HE DID TELL THE FRONT PERSON TO RETUEN MY MONEY. OK. NOW IT IS REGARDNG MARY. MARY STATED FRONT CASHIER COULD NOT RETURN THE MONEY. MONEY NOT RETURNED YET. MARY WOULD CALL ME. NO CALLS YET. MARY I WILL WAIT FOR A DAY. ALLOW YOU TO CORRECT. TO THE GROOMER. IT IS IMPERATIVE TO THE CUSTOMER HOW OUR FAMILY MEMBERS ARE TAKEN CARE OF. PLEASE DO NOT ASSUME THEIR CARE. IF YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO COMB ANY ANIMALS HAIR OUT??? YOU SHOULD NOT BE A GROOMER. SHAVING THE HAIR OFF?? ): NOT GOOD! IT IS CALLED LAZY. WE PAID FOR A FULL GROOMING @ 100.00.9/12/2022 10:02 AM. MARY CALLED ME AS IS RETURNING THE MONEY FOR HAIR CUT. NO APOLOGY. MARY IS RESPONSIBLE. DID THE RIGHT THING RETURNING THE MONETARY. SHE IS RESPONSIBLE WITH KYLE FOR THE GROOMERS ACTIONS. WILL NOT RETURN FOR ANY GROOMING. I HOPE AND BELIEVE SHE WILL SPEAK WITH KYLE FOR HIS ACTIONS. GIVING US ANOTHER DOGS TAIL HAIR. RRRRRR. WAS NOT EVEN OUR POODLES HAIR. GROCE.

I keep meaning to stop in and thank BarkLife for taking such great care of my doggo when she came in for grooming. When I dropped her off she was nervous and shaking, and when I picked her up she was smiling and happy and looked better than she ever has. Kyle, thank you for taking such good care of Emma while she was there with you. She still looks lovely, and knowing she was in good hands (after her knee surgeries and all) makes me happy! I appreciate you all and thank you again! HIGHLY recommend.

I was waffling between 2 1/2 and 3 stars on this one. 2 1/2 seems too low and 3 stars seems too high. That should give you an idea of what my little preamble is about.First of all, customer service is top notch but we simply can't let poor ACTUAL service go. I get some push back from my wife that it is covid and the markets are experiencing staffing issues as either blowback or as a complementing market forces related to our current recovering economy. However, some businesses have adjusted and pivoted to success, and others haven't.The dogs didn't look good, that is to say they didn't look as good as other groomers we have taken the dogs to (this includes Petsmart). We pulled off some matts AFTER we left the groomers, which is a huge red flag. While they were given a bath and the nails and paws trimmed, they didn't look nearly as manicured as we have come to expect with the service packages we chose with these dogs. There was also not the attention to the undercoat, tail, and chest area that is necessary with our dogs (Bernese mountain dogs/Pyrenees mixes).If the excuse is that they don't have qualified staff and that most of the staff is new (which is what the excuse was) then lower the price or focus on what staff you have that is qualified or perhaps adjust the services to be more reflective of the current staff's skillset. I have seen plenty of adjustments like this in the past two years.We have taken these two dogs to multiple groomers over the years to include four different states and we have never had them looking as slip-shod as they did yesterday, unfortunately. We will take them to our regular groomer next month when they will be available again (which is why we went to Bark Life to begin with).

I love this establishment and the people that work there. They are so helpful in helping you find what your dog needs and answer all your questions. As a new dog mom I had a lot and now Francis is doing so well on her diet. The grooming services are all the rave too. They do a nice professional job for a decent price and my Frenchie loves going to get pampered there.

Janelle is a treasure, she has been grooming our sweet old lady for about a year, this is a week out (so don't judge her mama’s) and she is still picture perfect! Thank you for taking such good care of our sweet girl!
