Terrible experience and Thank you Bayside for breaking my 7year old grandsons heart!!! I called earlier in the day to see if they have a drop in class for him since I was taking my granddaughter to her class there and was told yes.Yet unfortunately my granddaughter was in a girls only class so they couldn’t be together. . No coed class, what? We get there 45 minutes early and check in and pay with cash and told to wait to be called for classes which we sat right in front of the desk too. Girls on one side boys on other. Granddaughter went to her side and nobody called for my grandson. 5 minutes later I went back to the desk and they look for a coach found one and he took my grandson out to warm up, my grandson was so excited. Then they come and tell me they made a mistake and he had to get off the floor. No class for boys available today, what!!! they just now realized this after my phone call and waiting 45min. My grandson was so sad and disappointed he couldn’t go out there. Yet we saw many classes of girls who had one boy in them. Hmmm what is this place. And I asked for my money they said they would credit my granddaughters class with my grandsons cash. Hmmm this place certainly is not for the kids! Terrible Terrible Terrible is all I can say!!!! They did say they had one starting later I said no too late for us. Then I saw that class start and all girls and one boy. Yes I was so mad with this place. Would NEVER recommend it!!!! Don’t even deserve 1 star!

We visited Bayside Sports Academy to attend a birthday party for my friend's child. This is a HUGE gym located inside of a warehouse. There is so much room to run around in and lots of apparatuses to try, whether you're there for free play or for formal gymnastics training. There is also a Ninja Warrior themed area, with obstacles from the show for you to try. Because we were there for a birthday party, you get two chaperones who stay with your group and show the kids how to use the equipment. They didn't set up any particular obstacle or activity for the group to do together, so parents just had to supervise their kids (or run around with them as well) around the gym. My husband and I got yelled at a few times because we managed to get into the areas we were NOT supposed to go (the Ninja Warrior equipment and the inflatable slide, which has designated times for use). We had our own area for eating and storing presents for the birthday girl. After we ate, the chaperones finished our birthday session at the inflatable slide. Not the smartest order after our kids stuffed themselves with pizza and cake, but the kids had fun nonetheless. This was a fun, HUGE, and clean facility to use for a birthday party. Seems like a reputable place to enroll your kids or yourself in for gymnastics and other tumbling sports.

My daughter had her very 1st tumbling class tonight and as a former educator of 10+ years I was HIGHLY impressed with all of the coaching staff! The desk staff was organized and friendly to everyone. Kids of all ages were interacting with everyone and were happy. Positive energy and encouraging environment, we are looking forward to growing here.

Bayside Sports Academy is amazing! My daughter and son have been there since they could start classes and they love it! The coaches are all super friendly and great with the kids. They keep the kids engaged and make the classes super fun. Very happy our kids have such a good place to take classes at. Couldn’t give a higher recommendation!

I was wanting to send my special needs daughter to summer camp and had a "trial day" to see if they could take care of her. I told them up front - if you can't handle it let me know. Needless to say they were uncomfortable taking care of her. They told me they would see if they could find a one on one to shadow her during the day and would call me. Never heard a word. Sad - that you can't take care of every child on the spectrum. Or even have the courtesy to follow up and call me and let me know.

My Granddaughter just experienced a meet at this gym- she is level 8 and this is the ONLY competition that did not play the national anthem prior to the meet- and by all account they need to invest in new equipment- especially bars

I was interested in signing my child up for classes here, especially because I heard they have Covid safety rules in place. Sadly, that is NOT the case. I saw coaches/staff wearing MESH masks, masks with holes large enough in them to stick a straw. It then made me question their cleaning procedures and how they sanitize the gym. If they don’t care enough about keeping themselves and other safe by wearing a PROPER mask, why should anyone trust they are cleaning their gym?

We have been here a handful of times! Ethan is awesome! Happy to still see him working here over the year/years. We like to come for open gym on Wed or Friday. They were even open during a tropical storm SO grateful the kiddos were stuck inside. Thank you!!
