Daddy Kool Records is a great independent record store located in the Warehouse Arts District of St. Pete. It is a well kept store with a super wide selection, including new and used vinyl, CDs, cassettes, DVDs, and books. They also sell record players, t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, and other memorabilia. The stock is impressive with oldies, new releases, collectable records, and harder to find items. Prices are reasonable, with discounts like 15% off used records on Tuesdays. The staff is friendly and helpful. The store is super well organized, light, and bright, making it easy to find anything. It is a bit out of the way but definitely worth it.
Local gem. I've been to a lot of record stores all over the country and they have some of the best rare finds of any store I've ever been to.

Lots of Doom/Sludge metal records. They have individual sections for artists like Goatsnake, Corrosion of Conformity, Fu Manchy, Kyuss and a few more. It's my go to place for Doom metal.

The best record store in the Tampa Bay Area - they always have the best selection and the staff is so knowledgeable and friendly. I appreciate that they’re willing to check inventory before I drive all the way over there to browse. Clean, easy to navigate, love!
