The Goodwill St Petersburg Store is a large superstore and outlet complex. It feels more like an actual store than a typical thrift shop. The separate outlet, or "bins," section at the back is for bargain hunting and finding hidden treasures. This area is not super clean but not super disgusting, and the shopping experience is described as interesting, a little crazy, fun, and not for the faint of heart. New bins of items are brought out regularly, leading to initial frenzies where shoppers dig through the merchandise. Prices at the outlet are generally considered great and unbeatable, with amazing finds possible, including items with original tags still attached. Practical advice for the outlet includes wearing gloves for safety due to potentially sharp items, using carts, separating items at checkout, and not leaving a full cart unattended. The staff are described as very friendly, quick at checkout, and respectable, though management can be loud. While the store has many great things and is a good place for treasure hunting or reselling, some note that items can be found cheaper at locally-owned thrift stores.

They bring out great stuff. BUT they need to switch out deep bins for the blue tables. If you're short this is not the place for you. You are likely to fall into the deep bins. I almost did. My back was hurting rummaging. Back pain equals going home early and not spending much money. Not great for business Goodwill.

This location had so many great options. The prices were great. I was able to find some great gems.The staff were very friendly and quick at checkout. They have many wonderful selections. I recommend visiting this location.
