We have had nothing but problems. Several months delayed...they called and said the only way to get our project completed was to spend several thousand more to upgrade the outdoor TV (speakers had already been installed, and we would've been out $12K otherwise). The system goes out every time there is a software upgrade, and just randomly. Very unresponsive unless you physically go on site. We have nothing to compare their service to, and perhaps this is just the nature of home entertainment and sound systems, but our experience with their service ruined what should've been a lovely experience for us spending way more money than we ever dreamed we'd spend. I was going to give 1 star, but they did give us a discount on the upgrade TV to make it up to us. They deserve an extra star for the attempt. Also, there are a handful of very good employees here, and we did appreciate those individuals.

I just want to say..after 20+yrs as a retail GM kudos to Bestbuy. This is the only store I’ve been in recently that you can tell that they still care about employees, their stores and their business. They actually had associates there and shelves stocked and fronted looking nice and those associates were helpful and courteous. Every other business nowadays has minimal staff(one or two cashiers and that’s pretty much it) no one on the floor to help, no one on the floor to straighten and the stores look like hell. Everyone is blaming people not wanting to work but that’s not the case. Employers now want lots of employees that only work 15-20hrs a week so they don’t have to pay insurance and that makes people have to work 2\u00263 jobs to survive and it’s not always feasible for said people because the scheduling is too difficult to work out so those companies just stopped caring about what their stores look like. But what I saw today Bestbuy is not one of those companies it seems.

It is important to recognize exceptional employees who care for the customer.I am referring to Autumn Wayne in the MagnoliaSt Petersburg store. He actually listened to my needs and helped me as if the problem I was having was his own. He made me feel amazing how I was treated. I am definitely a customer for life and it’s because of him. Thanks again Autumn.

Terrible service. Needed reprogramming for a $20,000 purchase a year ago. No follow up. Then, contract sent that couldn't be electronically signed. Have to go in and sign 25 miles round trip before technician can come. Have been there two times and they couldn't have me sign as already paid $320?

Top notch consultants and installers! When you crave something better Magnolia has the Best gear going! Mgr. Stephanie has a Great crew. I'm not ready for Macintosh amps but Patric helped me put together a system with KEF speakers I love!! Expanded to Sonos whole house audio and even my (less than tech savvy) wife is thrilled with ease of use and sound. Car audio out back; Dillon has set up my son's car with a drool worthy system. I'm a Big fan and fortunate to live so close to such a great electronics resource!

We had an awesome sales guy by the name Mr. Jean in the Magnolia Dept. In side of Best Buy. He was very knowledgeable and professional; Mr. Jean answered each of my 101 questions lol with a smile. If you need a new TV or home system make sure you ask for Mr. Jean and tell a friend.

Spent roughly 20k with this location. This place is the biggest joke/scam I've ever seen. Not only are they super over-priced, but they are extremely hard to get a hold of (no direct phone number which is crazy) and they want to continually charge you every time they need to service their malfunctioning systems. It's utter insanity. STAY AWAY!

Been shopping Magnolia hometheater for 5 years when they first open. Services was great at that time. Knowledgeable staff was great as well. Going above & beyond Thanks (David T.). But now when it comes to buying 4k TVs the salesperson & delivery are not very knowledgeable when delivering & communicating with each other. When I bought a 4k TV I was told by the salesperson, that the delivery guy would deliver 4k TV to the room in the manufacturer box. Take my old 36" tube TV from tv stand & put it aside on floor at no charge. But when delivery guy came he wouldn't move the 36" tube tv. They wanted to charge me for that. I said forget it. No last minute surprises. That day I went to another store in Tampa & spoke to a magnolia salesperson about this issue & was told the same thing. "The delivery guy can take tv from stand & put it aside on floor at no charge".

Look for sale, discounted items. I, personally, look for the items that were on the display...highly discounted prices! Plus coupons, if you have any.

Nathan at Best Buy Magnolia Center was very helpful. I would ask for him. He went above and beyond to help.
