The team was great from check in to ordering our glasses. My 87 year old mother and I went together and they were very accommodating to her as well . Amanda was very patient helping us pick our glasses . The receptionist, doctor and optical assistant were wonderful as well! ! Great experience !

Very efficient staff. That was the easiest eye appointment I've had in 35 years of going. Staff complimented me on being well prepared for a first time patient. They may have helped my appointment go as smoothly as it did. Either way, will definitely be back! Also, loved the options for glasses and love the pair I chose

*** updatedDo not. Go here. I cannot emphasize this enough. The doctor was competent enough. But there are major issues with this practice that, in my opinion, border malpractice.I am a sales person. I understand how sales work and I respect the job. However the sales person at this location is backhanded and not forthcoming. Before I even got my exam she presumtually added a $50 test I did not need, that I had to ask to not take. She did not ask me if I wanted it, she phrased it as though it was not optional.Then, before reviewing my bill, selecting my frames, or checking if I had a way home, they dilated my eyes. After the dilation they had me pick glasses that had the price in micro-print wrapped around the frame so even a non dilated person would have trouble reading prices. This makes it harder to shop by cost and is clearly a sales ploy to shame you into picking them without bothering someone to read you all the prices. Jokes on her. I found a beautiful $99 pair.Then I get my bill. $180, and $115 of that is the tint for my glasses. I said I didn't want the tint. 20 minutes later she brings me another bill, but rather than $115 returned, it is completely reworked and only $70 less than the previous bill. Nothing is the same as the previous bill. Nothing.Despite getting polycarb lenses she snuck a protection plan on she did not ask me about and did not discuss and when I asked to remove it she became loud and argumentative.A good sales person doesn't need to lie, deceive and steal money from people. Horrible practice, unethical and just for the records, it's been 14 days and she still hasn't processed my refund. I got my new glasses before I got my refund.Do not go here.UPDATEI called regarding not getting my refund and to complain about the dilation before my bill. The person I dealt with originally answered the phone. She LAUGHED when I told her how upset I was that I was dilated before my bill was presented. Laughed. I don't think I need to say anything more.

The customer service at that place is nasty, terrible, the manager will scream in your face. I bought some glasses and their lenses after my eye exam and the lenses were poorly made, when I complained they forced me to take the exam again without any need, the doctor (who is an excellent doctor) verified how poorly made the lenses were and asked for them to be made again, but the manager twisted the frame to improve the vision, that didn't work either and I went back to ask for my money, but the manager refused and accepted that the glasses be made again but I insisted that the frame had to be replaced for a new one after it was bent and stressed and under fatigue; the manager accepted to provide a new frame a lenses. When I returned to pick up the glasses, I noticed that neither the lenses nor the frame was changed. When I said it, the manager yelled at me and treated me badly. I threw my money in the trash, please stay away from that place.

My 1st Visit 2022 Was AmazingMy Eye Exam was Done to Perfection and the Male Gentleman that helped me pick out my Glasses was So Amazing and Helpful with Style and Glasses Sale inspired me to purchase additional glasses = 5 StarThen I returned for Appt, My Eye Dr called Me in May of 2023. Stating it was my time for Renewal They were incorrectI was Not eligible for my Eye Exam until July but the Worse of it All was the Rude, Nasty ( I think her name is Amanda) that now does the Sale of Glasses She was and is Very Nasty and UnprofessionalMy Most Amazing Experience in 2022 Led to My Worse Experience in 2023I will Not Return to this Facility

Although the doctor was good, the front office staff does not know what they are doing and downright rude! I called and asked if I was due for my annual exam per my insurance because I was low on my contact supply and was told yes, so I made an appointment. I chose My Eye Dr, because the one in Colorado always took excellent care of our family, so I drove an hour to the appointment. When I checked in, the guy checking me in said my copay would be only $10, which seemed really low, so I wasn't completely surprised when after the appointment I was told it was $105. However, their internet was down, so she said she would call me for payment. They called me with a quote for the contacts, but I said I wanted to do a price check and would get back to them when I arrived home. By the time I got home (30 minutes), I had 2 rude voicemails about how payment was due at time of service and that I needed to call with payment before the end of day! When I called the other location, the same exact contacts were less expensive, and I found out that if they fitted me for the newer contacts, I could've received a bigger discount, but it was too late now. Fast forward 2 months and I receive yet another bill for an additional $195! You guessed it! My exam was done a month too early, so my insurance didn't cover any of it! Incompetence! If you don't know the answer to a question that could cost someone money, then politely tell them they will need to reach out to their insurance provider for that information. It's really that simple. We used to spend an average of at least $2500-3000 a year on eye care for our family with this company. They've seen the last of us!

Recently moved to the St Pete area from central Florida. Had the pleasure of being seen by Dr Wllcoxson. The eye exam was in-depth, he took his time and was detailed oriented. I felt like I was his only patient on this day which I wasn’t. In addition his assistant Elizabeth had great customer service skills and showed a genuine concern for me as a patient. I did not have time to select glasses on this visit. Returned a few days later and was greeted by Tony the reception (welcoming smile). He explained how my vision coverage worked 100% accurately (I know because I work with employee benefits). Next; I was assisted by Twyla. She answered all my questions about designer frames, price points and she even helped me pick out my final Michael Kors frame. Amanda completed the payment portion and was very detailed about next steps. About one week later I return to pick up my glasses. All went well and needless to say all the employees mentioned above were present. I received the same exceptional service as day one even though this was now my third visit. This practice is definitely customer centric and consistent!!!

Dr Dennis wilcoxon is amazing. He went through every step gracefully and explained to me everything. I felt like I could trust him a lot. The facility is very clean and the staff are friendly too.

I went for an eye exam last year. The visit went well. This is the reason that I gave 3 stars. This year I received an email every week reminding me to schedule an appointment and how important it was. I scheduled the appointment. I received a call 2 weeks before my appointment saying they need my information and showed no record of a visit. I explained that they had emailed me so there is a record and I was there and had purchased contacts and glasses. The assistant said she would check the records again. Well coming up to my appointment I received so many text messages reminding me like almost everyday. I had to reschedule because I had scheduled 3 appointments the same day and couldn't make it on time so I rescheduled and confirmed. I received a call saying they had a cancellation and asked me to come in I explained that I had a specific date that I rescheduled for and I had to work around a tight schedule. Well they continued to remind me about my appointment. texting and calling. I confirmed my appointment and I received confirmation that the look forward to seeing me. On the day of my appointment I arrived 20 mins early. I walked in they asked for my name and told me I had to reschedule because I didn't confirm the appointment. I was so upset that I didn't even argue. I had the confirmation in my phone. There was no one else in the office and I truly feel as though they didn't want to work. I said I didn't want to reschedule and left. I will never go there again.

Scheduled a same day appt 4/19 10:40 am from the website. The guy at Customer service for check in was great. The optometrist himself was friendly & upbeat. His assistant sweet. And the final stop with Amanda to choose glasses for my 14 year old was easy, affordable and she was kind as well. Atmosphere & the way they educated us made me happy so I scheduled myself an appt!
