Overall PODs is an excellent choice for moving and storage. I love that you rent the POD by the month, so you can take your time packing and unpacking. PODs are in high demand to scheduling can be a bit tricky, but if you do need to pick up the phone, then the customer service in excellent. Also, the entire delivery POD system is fascinating to watch at drop off and pick up. Pro tip; the drivers take a few photos of the POD at drop off and pick up. You should too. I didn't have any issues on that account, but it's still a smart thing to do.

My experience using PODS has been great. It was a seamless process that made my move easy and convenient. I would definitely this company, especially for long distance moves.

The unloading hours of operation are not conducive to someone who has to drive from Panama city to Pinellas Park fl since pods won't ship out there. 8am to 3pm is not the best hours, perhaps if you was in banking that would work!

I was a loyal POD customer for years, but something has changed. I recently had a dispute with them and no one bothered to discuss it with me and they stood by increasing my monthly rental $100 a month without my knowledge or consent simply because I made an inquiry wanting a quote to deliver to another city and the woman created a contract to secure the price and changed my status from local storage to long distance. We hadn't even bought the house yet. Never returned my calls or responded other than they had listened to the recordings and were sticking with their decision. So, I had a professional mover come and offload the POD on their premises and didn't use them to deliver it. Up until this last situation, I have been a loyal POD customer for years and have spent thousands with them, that's what made this extra disappointing. To anyone still reading, beware their contracts and good luck!

What a ripoff and the labor recommendation made it even worse. We lost money all the way around. Ended up being much more than quoted.Your response is a disappointment, your "transparency" is one hundred copies of the same document. I dare you to understand your document.

Terrible experience with Sales saying one thing and service saying "no can do". Pushed back my move with very little notice. Customer service treats you like they know you're stuck with the service already. No effort to satisfy or resolve. Take it and like it!

A friend took me here before. Now it is my hurry up and get the food place. The food is wonderful. We love everything...even the French fries. The lady repeats the order back to you on the phone to make sure she has it all correct.I can't say enough greatness about this establishment. *****

3 stars because of fees delievery fee from them to me. Then the monthly charge. Then the fee to deliever it to new house. Then another fee to pickup and return it. On top of your monthly fee

I buy storage lockers at auctions occasionally. I am SHOCKED that anyone buys units here. Their cleaning deposit is seriously outrageous ($350!!!). The highest I've seen in the area is $100 and some don't even ask for it. If you win multiple units you pay that $350 multiple times. There is no incentive to even bid on their units.I guess for storage it's convenient if you choose the expensive option of loading it and unloading it at your house. Although the one time I did that the driver got lost and then had trouble getting it onto the driveway. I'm glad I wasn't there to see them take it away because dropping it off gave me heart palpitations. The insides of the pods seem clean based on the few I've seen and they seem secure.

We paid almost 10k to have our belongings shipped from California to Florida. They refuse to release our POD, and refuse to deliver it to our new home. Everything we own is in that POD. We're staying at an Airbnb , only for one more week and half, then we'll be in our condo with nothing!!! I don't know what to do. Plus customer service is so horribly rude on top of it, I'm a crying mess, and am scared. Never ever ever use these people! God help us!

PODS made my move from California to Florida a lot less stressful. I highly recommend PODS for your moving and storage especially on a big move like mine.

Delivered a broken pod to my address (it was MISSING a floor beam in the center of the pod, causing the floor to collapse), didn't give me a new one for two days, and left me on hold for an hour during the time frame I was supposed to be moving. Nobody from the Saint Pete location ever reached out either. The delivery driver also barely acknowledged my existence when the new pod was dropped off, they completely ignored me. The whole idea with pods is - it's supposed to make moving less stressful... this was so much worse. Overall it was a horrible experience and caused me an extreme amount of anxiety. I would avoid in the future and only use pods if I had at least a week to load it, and made sure the driver didn't leave before a thorough walkthrough was completed. Be very cautious with using this company and this location. They do not care about how smooth your move goes or how much chaos they cause.

My 80 year old friend fell down and suffered brain damage. He had to move to an assisted care facility. I volunteered to clean out his house, putting his things in a POD storage unit. I paid for the service with my credit card. Now I would like to switch the monthly storage payments to my friend’s credit card. This seems like it should be an easy process, but it’s been incredibly difficult due to poor customer service by PODS. The customer service people on the phone are not able to make the switch between the credit card accounts. It should be simple, but it’s a very difficult process.If you use PODS be prepared for long periods of time talking to people who are on other sides of the world who can’t help you.
