This building is under construction and closed. Wasted my time driving here thinking it’s open. They should put closed on the store business hours.

Showed up twice. First time, checked in, waited 45 minutes, and was never called. Tried to talk to staff, who were largely dismissive and couldn't provide more info on why I hadn't been called despite check in.
2nd time, got phone alert re: check in information, went to location, it was closed. Sign out front said to check "coach in back parking lot" so I drove around the building, but there was nothing.
I've gone to other quest locations in the past and had much better luck. Maybe avoid this one.

I scheduled an appointment online and received a confirmation. I went to the location on my scheduled day and they were closed. I noticed a Quest bus out by the road, so I went there. They said that the building was undergoing renovations. There was NO note on the door directing patients to the parking lot. Common sense and decency would be to post something on the door to alert patients of the change. Then, when I tried to check in, the kiosk could not find my appointment. I showed the employee (who was very nice) my confirmation and then had to wait to be seen because they were booked. This is not the first time that their website has scheduled my appointment, sent me a confirmation, and then apparently lost my appointment, hence the screenshot. I'm so sick of Quest Diagnostics. I'll start using a different lab for now on.

Ever since they reopened after the storms it seems like a different place. Not a professional atmosphere any longer. I’ve been twice now and wait times are so much longer. In the waiting room you can hear the staff joking and sounds like a party going on back there meanwhile I did a walk in and not a sole in the place except me and they are just joking around in the back. I’m guessing new management. Hey not against having fun at work but really?

I had a second unfavorable experience with the same person at my last Quest visit. I reported her previously for sadistic behavior. Incomprehensibly, she is the lead at the site. Her name is Vicki and at first I didn’t recognize her when she called me back for my blood draw. When I realized she was the same person who had tried to make my post-venipuncture arm bleed previously, I asked for someone else to draw my blood this time. She was being nasty and clearly unhappy with me bringing two separate orders from two different doctors. She let out a dramatic sigh and pulled in a chair, saying “I guess I might as well sit down.“ Just a bad attitude. Then Ashley came in to draw my blood, did a great job, and was pleasant. How refreshing!

Received reminder texts last week, last night and this morning about today's appointment. I got there to find they're CLOSED and undergoing renovation. Three more people came up when I was there. This is NEGLIGENT MEDICAL MALPRACTICE.

My appointment was accepted at the Gulport Location. I received confirmation emails/texts to that affect. Upon arrival that facility was closed due to Hurricane damage. Why would appointments be allowed and if they had been, why did Quest not notify patients that the facility was closed. Instead we were all led to believe it was operational as we received confirming emails and texts. They had a note on the door with two other possible location. I drove to the one that was a little over 5 miles from my home, however they understandable could not honor my appointment time. I decided to sign in as a walk in. I waited about 45-50 minutes before being called. I have to say the 49th facility was doing their very best to accommodate all the Gulfport patients that were not advised that facility was closed. I was happy with the efficiency at the 49th Street location, they were doing their best to fit in all the Gulport patients that were arriving.

Appointment was 11:10 got called back at 12:20. Check in is on 2 useless machines. 2 expensive useless machines over a counter person at minimum wage? Very silly! I'd rather of had a counter person to let them know to call or text when I'm ready so I could've sat in the car instead ofnthe PACKED waiting room. They give you that option on the computer, but the expensive machine don't tell you they're an hour plus behind. Once you find that out (15mins after being there from a nurse coming out to apologize) youre stuck in the office. No restrooms to use while you wait. They make you knock on the coded door to bother a nurse to slow the process even more. Couldnt tell you how many people just knocked to ask silly questions to slow them down even more. Again if they had a counter person! But what do I know. One positive was Emele I think was how you spell her name. She was so sweet and awesome! She's the reason they got a 2 star instead of one.

I use Quest located in South Pasadena Blvd. It is conveniently located in the same shopping plaza as my favorite Chinese restaurant, Ace Hardware, and a CVS. There is also a KiKi's restaurant which is a good place for breakfast if you had a fasting blood test.
I make my appointments for blood tests on the Quest website. Checking in is at a kiosk. Enter your appointment code and id. There is little waiting at the appointment time. Staff is very professional and I had no problems with any of them being able to take blood samples.

Despite making an appt in advance, they ran well behind with no one apologizing or explaining reason for delay. Fifteen people I waiting room before anyone was called, and I was early. Very poorly run, especially for folks fasting all day for blood draws. No seems to be able to take responsibility for the lateness.

The black lady who had shift around 8:30 am on 7/16/24 had the worst customer service ever! Someone took over my husband’s appointment (8:40am) where we were there checked-in on time. We tried to explain what happened but seemed this lady did not understand english and she put us at 9:40 am appointment. We just left because my husband gotta work. I’ve been to many quest clinic.. this is the worst!
