Been going here for years, all the guys in the shop are very knowledgeable about their field they work on pretty much any car new or old. And I’ve always done business with John not sure if he’s the owner but he’s very fair explains everything to me in a way I can understand. And last but not least they are very fair with price for parts and labor and that’s why I would only trust these guys. All around great experience every time I wouldn’t bring my car anywhere else.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I can't rave enough. My friend recommended this place. They were so nice, I had to postpone an appointment last minute because of work but they were very understanding and nice about it, and squeezed me in at a later time. They were fast, efficient, explained things to me and their prices are so fair (I called 8 other places before I was told to call them). They have my business for life and I highly recommend!!! Nice, fair, trustworthy, good prices and overall great experience. Thank you!

I came to Suncoast as I needed a tire replaced and it was the closest tire shop to my house. I had 1 tire that needed to replaced and I already had the other tire to replace it. I called Thursday and they were able to work me in Friday morning. They made sure the other tire I had was safe to put on my car as I wasn’t sure if the rim was bent or not. They updated me throughout the whole process and got my tire switched out in under 15 minutes. It was the easiest experience I’ve ever had at a “car maintenance” business and for the first time ever, this shop wasn’t trying to take advantage of me/trying to get me to buy unnecessary things. Instead, when I went to go checkout, they told me I don’t owe them anything and to have a good day. The owner is incredibly nice and it’s clear he cares for his customers. This place is amazing!

very racist would not help even though an employee assured us they could patch our tire while the another older bald man told him not too and that he wasn't doing it he was busy but was doing nothing but eating then told me to go up the street

Took a 05 Camry in just before Christmas for a repair for a new vacuum switching valve and fuel vapor canister (mind you I already knew what the issue was).John and his "trusty technician" decided to try and pull the rug from under me by telling me I needed to pay $927.00 for this repair. He said ignition coils were misfiring (LIE #1) and he would not just repair the two parts I requested unless 3 ignition coils were replaced. On top of this, I ended up paying a diagnostic fee DESPITE me knowing what the problem was.I had to talk to the owner KEN but JOHN told me on two different days that he was not in (LIE #2 and #3). I was fed up at that point and fixed it MYSELF (I am not a mechanic) for $75. My family has spent THOUSANDS here and this is how I am treated.On top of all of this, they lost two screws for the intake manifold and left IMPORTANT COMPONENTS UNPLUGGED after the "technician" looked at my vehicle I found this all out by just observing the engine bay. I did get a free RUSTY extension that was left on the dash that sat and created a rust stain. Great customer service to this mystery technician (wish I knew his name).Just before towing this car, I asked for a copy of the estimate because I paid the DIAGNOSTIC FEE and JOHN refused to give me it twice as he claims I can only receive it after 30 days (LIE #4). 30 days is when estimates are discarded.They refuse to email or fax any paperwork and this is just another big red flag.I DO NOT RECOMMEND SUNCOAST AUTO!!!!DO NOT talk to john when getting a consultation. The only one whom I would trust is the owner KEN. So far he has not treated me the way JOHN has but I REFUSE to further support this business after this.My advice for Ken would be to answer the phone instead for future customers.This is the reason I work on vehicles, fed up with being manipulated. I got to spend all that extra money on my Christmas :)Service: Engine repair

I take my car to Suncoast for oil changes. They allow me to buy the oil and oil filter. I change my own air filters. They check everything as well. It only cost $12.00 for the oil change. This saves me a lot of money. They are very nice. The air conditioning was not turning on when I picked up my car. I went back in and asked them about it. The man came out and tapped the motor, which started working again. I bet some other outfit would have tried to replace parts and cost me a fortune. I am getting ready to make another appointment for an oil change when my auto ship of oil and oil filter arrive from Amazon. I will call Suncoast if I need an auto repair.
