I went to Truist today with an attitude concerning the move from Sun Trust to Truist.I had been charged two overdraft fees I could not afford to pay.I am a service connected Army Veteranwaiting on my claim to approved by the VA and have very little money to live on.I went into the bank & spoke with EdsonMakwara.He is a banker at this Branch.HE COULD NOT BE MORE HELPFUL.He had no attitude and immediately helped me with some overdraft fees.He switched my account to a new Truist Account with no overdraft fees.I have a very limited budget but he treated me just like someone with a lot of money. I couldn't be happier.I have only written 3 or four google reviews since google was google

6 people working non can do a wire from a bank. Incompetence. Don't waste your time. Closing my accounts.

S L O W!! One lane open, waited 15 minutes in line for the one car in front of me. Teller says I'll be right with you when I get there. So another wait, it was only a deposit for gosh sakes. In addition same teller as last time who gave my receipt to another vehicle. Closing this bank account as soon as possible

I am very happy with the years I have banked here (over 13 years total). Yes there are rough times as they go through a merger with another bank ( haven't we all been there?), but I find the staff still goes out of their way to do their best at providing above expected service. Ryan has the best attitude when assisting me over the phone with some of my banking issues in the past 6 months as I have spoken to him on several occasions. He goes out of his way to help me and explain how to best fix my issues if he can't fix them himself and I appreciate that. Other staff I have dealt with at the bank have been just as helpful. Keep up the good work!!

So slow, always a long line thru drive thru. Always one lane open. You'd think since it was taken over it would improve. Same service new name. Truist didn't make it any better

i have direct deposit and have deposited a couple bonus checks from my employer with no problems. i deposited a check on June 22 and got a email saying there would be a hold till July 2. Never had a issue with with a returned check so now 110 overdrawn and another 126 coming out tomorrow not counting return fees overdraft fees. not only that I have been working my butt off to get things back to normal financially so I shared info with my employer that was embarrassing to share to get a loan to achieve that goal. So what little I have left will hopefully find another bank. it Is 2021 there is no reason that a check should take so long to clear

I made an appointment today to work with a banker to transfer funds and wire money to multiple accounts. Ryan was especially helpful and so pleasant to work with! The interior of this bank is modern and updated. I will return to this branch and would recommend others based on my positive experience today.

The lack of customer service at the Gateway location led me to leave SunTrust altogether. The branch hours are inconvenient for working people. I went to this location and needed to speak with a banker. A teller named Skylar told me that all the bankers were tied up in a training and no one could assist me. I asked if she could knock on the door to their office and explain my dilemma and she refused. I used to work in banking and we always staggered our training so that a banker would always be available to assist customers. Next, I asked Skylar if she could contact the next closest branch to ensure that someone would be available to help me. She refused to call to see if the branch would be able to assist me since her branch couldn’t. From what I’ve observed at this branch, this minimal effort behavior seems to be their standard.

I must say I hate that this is the bank I will be merging w as being a bbt member ! Especially to find out they close at 4pm plus not even open on sat what so ever ! Not everyone is off work on those days nore get off by those hrs. Looking at other bank this is sad.

After speaking with Karim, I felt fully assured SunTrust was the proper bank for me to work with. He is a very valuable asset to this branch and I highly recommend him for anyone requiring banking needs.

I can't imagine you go to cash a check from a SunTrust customer and you have to pay to get your money? Very sad how SunTrust will gouge a customer and jeopardize a relationship with a possible new customer. I'm very happy to be part of a credit union! Much better experience!

Slower than slow and just called asking about getting a POA notarized, the person I talked with spoke garbled English. We shall be looking elsewhere for all our banking services.
