I went in the other day to rent a pressure washer and I understand that I need a valid credit card or major credit card to hold a deposit, but not everybody has a major credit card. What I did have was enough cash on hand to buy two or three pressure washers, but you can't rent one to me because I don't have a valid credit card to hold a $50 deposit on? Seems like an outdated policy to me Home Depot. You could have asked me for a cash deposit for the amount of a new pressure washer just in case it didn't return. That seems like a win win for cash customers and The Home Depot. Unfortunately my business went to another tool rental company down the street where they were more accommodating to cash only customers. Other than that you know I'll be back like I am everyday, to shop the rest of the store the is always so helpful.

Rented a paint sprayer.Nobody showed me how to use the sprayer nor how to clean it. The sprayer was also broken, constantly leaking paint out of the handle and onto the floor. Lost a solid quart of paint to this.Despite having NO instructions on how to clean the machine, I ran a 5 gallon bucket of water through the line to get the paint out. They STILL charged me a $100 cleaning fee.Made a mess out of my paint job. Not working. No instructions. And still get charged extra.

Cancelled our reservation 3 hours before pick-up this morning, and now... our plans are completely wrecked for the next 3 DAYS. Absolutely horrible service, guess you really should pay the stupid fee to "protect" your reservation from home depot basically renting it out from underneath you even though you have paid the deposit fee and technically for your rental as well. So now what was supposed to take 9 hours will now take 81 hours and different card information as they didnt realease the hold.... yet still cancelled our reservation......... Seriously, EXACTLY 9x longer because of this nonsensical tom foolery. Do better. Hire more competent people. And maybe try not royally screw people over just so your massive corporation can make a buck, cuz thats all it needs right... more more moorreeee!!!??? You all are tanking the reputation of this home depot, which I've used for 7 years now. You should be ashamed. Do. Better.

Too few employees, for too many customers. Should not need 30 minutes to check out. Even employee complained about management not replacing call off.

We ordered 11 pieces of kitchen cabinets. This DIY project that should of taken several days took several months. Out of the 11 pieces, 6 were damaged and needed to be replaced. When those finally came in, 4 were damage and once again we needed to replace them. Once our cabinet came in, the salesperson gave them to someone else. How that happened who knows. Every time we went to pick up our order, we had to deal with staff not finding our order and spending several hours going over our situation with one salesman to the next. This has been the worse experience ever.

The customer service here is awful- stood at the counter for several minutes while one older gentleman walked away to fiddle with something, while the other staffman was clearly busy helping someone on a call. Never even bothered to acknowledge I was there or said hello or ' we'll be right with you'-Anything would have been fine really, except being totally ignored.I remember having an issue with the same guy when I went six months ago for something else, and he was less than helpful then too.Not sure if his issue is that I'm female or what? but I doubt he treats everyone the same way..

I came into this location with a mechanical bull head, which needed to be repaired. This kind employee took the time to not only show me what screws to purchase, but he also went above and beyond to fix the inside of it. There is no way I would have found a solution without his help. Seriously the best customer service I’ve ever had. He deserves a raise.

Home depot is home depot, you go there for tools and you get tools haha. The bad reviews I see here usually are a bad experience with ONE cashier or something online. I always try to rate a business for the actual business. One rude cashier doesn't represent the entire company as a whole

I've always had a great experience here. Always able to find help, the variety is excellent, etc. Wish there were more luxury vinyl options and samples on the floor of those, and more samples of the tile that they sell online.
