Miserable people with bad attitudes working at this store. Had to ask three different people to unlock the cage for electrical wire. Everyone one of them were dismissive, and had an attitude. It's not my fault you have to work at Home Depot for your paycheck.

I'm mostly writing this review for two reasons: to compliment the mystery artist that put googly eyes on the advertisement (you know the one), and to recognize a great member of the local team: Fatjona. She not only knew exactly where to direct me when I came in for double-sided tape, but she was funny & kind throughout my whole visit. At the end, I accidentally tried checking out at a staff register because they looked like self-checkout areas. She laughed, told me to "have fun with it", and just helped me at the end to pay for my items. It was a great experience overall!

Worst experience ever , customer service here at this location is not acceptable, I needed some assistance in windows and there was no one to be found . So I had to go to Lowe's . I wish I could put no start

I walked in and asked for help and someone tried to help me, then when I went to customer and Jim actually went out of his way to help me. He felt badly for my experience at the other Home Depot did everything he could to rectify that experience, including going, and finding a person who could help me and he brought me Bill HD scoured the store looked and found that they didn't have any in stock and effect on their equipment. It shows a -5 where is online and if the equipment Customer Service has it still shows at the store has four in stock. Both of these guys deserve a raise and maybe Home Depot should considering hiring people over 40 since often people under 30 or not equipped with customer service skills sets.

If you are considering Home Depot for a project..run! I gave up $4000 to do the right thing and share my experience with you…my experience with Home Depot is as follows❤️ Re: job #11128950 My name is Lori xxxxx and I have been in contact with you at various times through the duration of this project. Here is a recap of the issues involved: -projected time required for project initially one day (June 29) morphing to weeks then months -window manufactured incorrectly requiring a reorder -glass door panel installed with cracked glass requiring replacement -all window screens installed backwards and ripped. -window sash damaged requiring replacement -door trim installed without prior approval or discussion resulting in negative esthetic changes to the structure -installed window was inoperative requiring repair. The time I was required to provide for this project far exceeded what I was told to expect. Home Depot’s mistakes cost me tens of thousands of dollars in lost wages. As an airline Captain a day off means not flying a trip, which can mean 3-6 days of lost revenue. In addition to the financial cost, my integrity was attacked including Atlanta personnel accusing me of lying regarding lack of notification for the time this project may require. I have all correspondence available for review. I endured misogynistic and disrespectful attitudes, actions, and words from your installation contractors. I was told I was behaving like a cop when I asked to see Home Depot identification. I was told parts for the windows did not exist, and then I found the parts discarded in the garbage. I was told parts did not need to be installed because the installers did not want to install them. I was talked about in a derogatory manner in Spanish. Unbeknownst to the contractors, I speak Spanish. I was shown one color and type of trim which I approved, and then the contractor installed something else claiming it was the same. When I held the sample next to what was installed, the difference was obvious. When caught in the lie, the installer walked off the job leaving a 200lb glass door panel balanced precariously against a wall along with trash and other hazardous materials. The financial and emotional costs created by Home Depot’s mistakes have been excessive. I expect a company that prides themselves on the quality of their products, workmanship, and guarantees to want to rectify mistakes to the best of their ability, not the least. The dismissive email I received from Home Depot stating their offer of a $2500 rebate was fair compensation “and they were sticking with that”, was insulting in tone and amount. I don’t expect something for nothing, but I also don’t expect a purchase to cost so much beyond what I was told to anticipate. We all pay for our mistakes one way or another, usually financially or with our reputations. We don’t always choose to do the right thing, but we always feel the consequences of our choices. Your customers expect Home Depot to do better. I hope you do too. Sincerely, Lori xxxxxxx

Disabled veteran of the United States Marine Corps here. I paid Home Depot Professional Services over $50,000 to install new storm windows and glass over 18 months ago. Many of the window and door openings were not measured correctly, so after waiting over 6 months for PGT to build their poorly engineered garbage, none of the screens fit, two windows were 3 inches too small, some of the doors didn't fit. It was a disaster. Screens were missing, parts were missing, plugs were missing, trim is still missing. The installation crew they brought to my home were led by a convicted drug dealer who I later learned was on parole at the time, and is now back in prison for selling hard drugs. No one is vetted, there is no background check. Every corner that could be cut, was cut. We still have non-functioning screens, our $5,000 entry door hardware was mismatched and very low quality. The regional leader of this group (Tommy Fay) consistently let months slip by without responding to questions or providing updates. More than 12 months since the installation, they still have not finished the job and now they're telling me (for the first time since last February, when the conversation started) that they just don't do exterior paint. To add insult to injury, the deceitful salesman (Randy Russel) convinced me to sign up for a 12 month, no-interest thing. He made it clear that I shouldn't be late on a payment, but did not make it clear that the balance needed to be $0 by month 13. At the end of 12 months, they charged me ALL of the accumulated (ultra-high) interest. Maybe it's a common scam, I don't use cards like that, so it was new to me. Fortunately, I was able to get the > $9,000 of interest charges reversed by paying the balance all at once. It felt like a mafia shakedown. They do not vet their subcontractors, they do not finish the project, they do not have reasonable quality products, they are literally just frauds in my view.

Purchased a Kitchen Aid refrigerator November 2019. It stopped functioning while we were out of town.. Everything in it was spoiled and rotten and stinky. We returned home on May 4. After the royal runaround the bottom line is we still have no refrigerator. We will NEVER spend another Penny in the Home Depot. I forgot to mention that we purchased the extended warranty!

Failure to exchange newly purchased defective appliance. Instore purchase of Magic chef freezer did not fit upright in my suv so I took it home and stood upright for 24 hours as directed. Plugged in, put meat in cold freezer. Freezer would not seal properly on one side and frosted up along that edge. Called and was sent to voice mail. Went to store, they had one to replace it with but would not deliver and exchange new freeze for defective. Spoke with Manager Joe and I was required to purchase another, take it home, stand upright for 24 hours, then fill with my frozen food and bring the defective one back. What if I could not afford to purchase 3 until I could return the other. What would I do with all that frozen food for 24 hours? HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! The new one should have been delivered upright so the food could be directly transferred and the defective one taken in an even exchange!

Garbage store don't go. Started with sitting on the phone for an hour to no response. Arrived at the store to be told they have 3 of the i teams I want in stock. But they can't find a single one. Then come the bs lies. It's the night shift people, someone didn't scan it right, place an in store pick up order and we will find it. After about 10 minuets of excuses I honestly found it hard to believe a word out of there mouths. And left shaking my head looking for the closest ace hardware or lowes.

We noticed over the past few weeks that HD Tyrone in St Pete no longer enforces the law regarding protective face covering during the ongoing national health emergency. We saw several customers being allowed into the store maskless and wander at will. Manager (and presumably the leader) KHADINE RITCHIE explained to us that she and her staff will not approach a customer to wear a mask. She explained that the personal choices of people wasn't any of their business. Well.....we respectfully disagree with Ms RITCHIE. The USA is in the middle of the greatest health crisis imaginable history + HD, including MS RITCHIE has a corporate responsibility to refuse customers entry given the Florida and County LAW. They further have the responsibility to refuse service to those who are willfully breaking the law and as a result putting the public at grave risk. Shame on Home Depot for choosing meager profits from these COVidiots over the respect of their loyal customers.
