Great nursery that specializes in native plants. Mike provides design, consultation and other services to help you grow and maintain your native landscaping. He is a fountain of knowledge on the types of plants, placement, soil conditions and more in helping raise awareness and help our local insects and birds. Friendly and inexpensive, you cannot go wrong with Twigs & Leaves. We love our yard - thank you!!

We relied on Mike's supposed expertise to help landscape our back yard. In fact, he possesses none. He suggested plants that did not grow or fill-out as predicted. 2 expensive trees he sold us died within 3 months. When we tried to contact him to ask him as to why this all may be happening; he blocked my tel number and ignored requests from my wife's phone. I would highly recommend NOT frequenting Mikes business for landscaping info and sales. Buyer beware.

We worked with Mike at Twigs & Leaves to create a Florida native landscape and we could not be happier. Mike was great to work with - he created a detailed landscaping plan with many options and price points. We chose to take it slowly and he immediately got to work on getting our front yard in order with different trees, bushes and flowers. Before we worked with Twigs, our front yard was effectively sterile - no insects or birds came around. But with their help, we love hanging on our front porch and watching the bees, butterflies and birds come by. We could not be happier to get to support a local business and support our local insect population.Thank you, Twigs & Leaves, for your hard work and for making us excited about our new yard!Service: Garden decoration

I asked for a design for my backyard and made clear my budget. I paid for the design. Then Michael provided a design that was 3x my budget. When i made clear that was unacceptable he offered me nothing, not even my money back or a proper design within my budget.

When looking for native plants in the Tampa Bay area, definitely check out Michael's collection of specimens. He's very helpful and informed. You might learn a thing or two in the process! ;-)

I would never do business again with this scam artist and cheat. Michael does not pay his bills and has to keep moving to avoid his creditors. There are many other reputable garden centers /landscapers that conduct business responsibly.

Half the time you go, despite listing they are open at that time, they aren’t. I just tried to go by the new location, and once again the door is locked despite their FB saying they are open. Some things never change. I’ll stick with going to Wilcox for my Florida natives.

Nice to support a small florida native nursery. Kinda a mess, but the plants were nice, bought some whorled milkweed, an oakleaf hydrangea, and bay bean (never seen sold before but commonly seen among the dunes at the beach). Parking along the curb and entrance is along the side of the building, thread your way through the clutter and you'll find your way to the plants. They said they do landscaping too. They had nice firebush, porterweed, muhly grass, azure sage, rosinweed, whorled, pink and white swamp milkweeds.
