Flying J is a good place to stop, described as security safe. The actual station itself is great, with nice people. It is a good place for an RV dump, which is very clean and easy to find. The showers are recommended for those on the road; the facilities are clean with warm water and supplied towels. Staff are super nice and very helpful, making extra good on reservations to find parking spots. However, the parking lot is tough for a big rig and often overflowing. A major criticism involves the truck entrance, which is now blocked, forcing trucks to make an illegal and hazardous U-turn. This is a serious safety hazard requiring a redesign. The prices are also noted as high.
Showers are currently 18$ at this location! They supply you with a warm washcloth, face towel and shower towel. Shower facility stall 8 was clean and the water was warm! In my opinion, if you need to wash up and you're on the road I recommend this stop! It is tough to get a big rig in the parking lot but it was worth it!

Who was the braindead city planner that decided to block the left turn into the truck entrance without providing a safe alternate entrance that does not involve U-turns? (Most major carriers have a zero tolerence policy and will fire a driver for U-turns, no matter the reason, because they are a safety hazard.)
