So it's Leap Year; I only have a "BIRTHDAY " every 4 years so I wanted a New LeapYear Honda 2024 Ridgeline TrailSport. After doing my research Auto Nation Honda Sanford contacted me about exactly what I wanted. Dee Duygu Aykin in New Car Sales emailed me about my LeapYear Ridgeline. She was amazing!! The support team behind her was very helpful and I purchased exactly the color and trim I wanted without compromising. Ms. Aykin spent her morning making sure I had everything needed for a quick efficient transaction. I am pleased to recommend The team at AutoNation Honda Sanford and ask for Dee Duygu Aykin She will provide you with total Customer Care not just Service and takes time to get you what you want. Thank You Dee You have started my LeapYear Birthday off to a wonderful start

I returned to this dealership to test drive and possibly purchase a CRV. My 2019 Civic was rear-ended and determined a total loss. After some family changes, I decided it was time to get something bigger this time around. Martin accompanied us on a test drive. I was upfront about not yet having the insurance money from the total loss, so wasn't ready to buy, but was heavily leaning towards remaining with Honda and looking to get something bigger. He understood I was not ready to purchase and did not make me feel pressured. We corresponded via text on and off. I was told a vehicle fitting my preferences would be shipped to AutoNation since the only color available on site in my price range was one I did not want. After not hearing from Martin for a day or two, I reached back out. He responded that the managers would only honor the price in a color they had on the lot. I told Martin I would keep looking. Long story short, the insurance money finally was made available, and he told me no vehicles in my price range were available and offered an more expensive version at more than $3k more than my price cap. I told him I'd crunch some numbers and let him know. That day, I contacted Jenkins Honda and they beat the price by over $200 and had exactly what I was looking for on their lot. I got the vehicle. The next day, yesterday, I let Martin know I'd found what I was looking for and he responded with this snarky message and then blocked me. AutoNation, is this how you deal with rejection? I'm hesitant to even write this review because who knows what kind of messages I will be met with in response. Unacceptable. We wouldn't have had to have the back and forth to begin with had there been proper and forthcoming communication about available colors. Don't tell me you're going to have a vehicle shipped in the color I want if you're not going to do that. If I wanted sass, I can talk to my toddler.

I had my Honda Pilot towed to this place. Not my regular dealership (I go to Holler or Classic as they're closer to home) but our car died and this was nearest dealership. I called ahead and the service department was closed, so I spoke to another gentleman. I guess it was the end of the day and I was somewhat in distress but the person who took the call was somewhat condescending when I did not know what to do given that service was closed. As we arrived, rather than reassuring me and helping me, they pointed to the night drop-off box - again, in a rather 'not my problem' type of attitude. But then the next day came. Travis is a rockstar. He started on the car immediately and sent me text messages with pictures, codes, and progress. Turns out it only needed a battery but the starter codes had scared me. I had my car back by noon. Outstanding service. Than you, Travis!

I often come here to get my car serviced. There is ample parking and I usually don't have to wait long for my car to be attended to. The wait times have improved greatly since post-COVID when they were short-staffed. They have water and usually popcorn to offer their customers while they wait. The restrooms are up to par and the establishment is clean. There is a person to check you into your appointment. An older gentleman approached me and helped me regardless of the mix-up regarding my appointment time. He told me not to worry and that my car would be serviced with no problem. Today, my car was serviced by Jorge Q.A. and he was a pleasure from the start. He explained to me what the codes on my car meant and thoroughly explained each service that I would need, in addition to the price and length of time it would take to fix. He even gave me advice based on my budget on what to handle first and what could be put off. I thoroughly appreciate Jorge and his service today and as a female in a car place, I felt very comfortable and educated with making my decisions. He didn't pressure me to buy anything and I didn't feel coerced. Thank you, Jorge, I will be back again!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Jose. I was thinking of a Ridgeline, but wasn't quite ready back in March. He was respectful of my time and was not pushy at all about me not being ready. A few months later, I was ready, and Jose was ready to help me out. Very easy process, I got a good deal on my trade in and the Ridgeline. Everyone was great and polite. I highly recommend them and Jose!

Edit: 6/1/23 another mechanic discovered immediately that an alarm system that should have been removed was messing with the electrical system. It took 3 hours to remove. More $$$ but my auto runs. ~~~~~ NEED ASSISTANCE WITH AN ISSUE Hey Folks, What do I do? I bought my car at Autonation Honda in 2007, to replace a CRV I bought from them 10 years prior and a after that I bought my sons car there too. Im the pinnacle of customer loyalty to AutoNation Honda. Every year for all these years for me and many years for my son, I bring my vehicle in to get serviced and pay the big Honda bucks just to get them "Honda certified". Today I found out they don't stand behind their word in a big way. Today was my 2023 check up. They called and said I needed 4 new tires and a few vents. I didn't try and call tire kingdom and get them cheaper I went with Honda. ($1100) i pay my bill get in the car and my cd/dvd/navigation system/rear camera system doesn't even turn on. NADDA It was on when i turned the car off. Frustrated, I leave the car there AGAIN and go home. They call me and say, they did nothing wrong and its an after market radio so its my problem. I heartily disagree. They put on Brian Peine (prounounced PAIN but of course) who is the head of servicing. I said, look i'm more than a 26 year customer. i have been buying cars from you for 26 years. This one has been services here for 16. Can't you at least pay for best buy to fix it? "NO. lady you've GOT to be kidding me if you think we are going to do ANYTHING for you." how nice. Can you give me a discount? No if you were nice I might. WHAT????????? (running back and forth to your dealership all day in 90 degree weather while you cost me $2200 has made me wonderfully cheery Brian) Besides that WHAT DOES BEING NICE HAVE TO DO WITH THE FACT THAT YOU BOTCHED AN $1100 NAV/CD/DVD/REAR VIDEO SYSTEM????? sensitivity training that you just cost me $1100 would really be in order here for his career. They have NO SIGNS up saying if we nuke your aftermarket anything iTS your issue. Only don't leave your stuff in your car. I took a video of that. So I just paid $1100 and AutoNation Honda just cost me probably another $1100. and its not the fuses. If you look up autonation on sunbiz.com there are like 10 people who own Autonation. I'm penning them a brief note now. but that won't get me an $1100 system. it will just tell them that loyalty means nothing and ruining peoples equipment also means nothing. but where else do i go to get whole? the NAV/dvd/cd/camera system wasfairly new, was working perfectly until johnny jerkoff worked on my car. and now it's a paperweight. suggestions? also i need a good honda mechanic in the lake mary area. i told them i need all my records and neither my son or I will ever step foot in their establishment again.

I went here to ultimately sell my Camaro. They were very thorough, courteous, forthcoming and the entire process was pleasant and easy. Mario was super at his job. The showroom is spectacular. They really have some beautiful cars in it. The whole place is large. Ample parking.

If you own a Honda, steer clear of AutoNation Honda Sanford - who's lack of respect for customers in their service department is unbelievable. We've been dealing with a recurring crackling entertainment system issue for the past two years on our brand new 2020 Odyssey, and they've been absolutely useless (piecemeal at best) in helping us resolve it. We began working with Honda corporate about a month ago to assist in helping us resolve the issue & they're will to take care of the system under warranty once diagnosed. Now, as this is an ongoing issue, you would assume that this is a simple resolution. However, NOT for Honda Sanford who's previous Service Director Michael never picked up the phone & has since moved on to another AutoNation group or the "new" Service Director Brian who would prefer to insult his customers instead of listening & providing service - as his title implies. Despite offering to show their tech(s) how to recreate the problem, review our videos or even speak further with our service team (who have personally heard the issue); my wife & I were told by their newly hired Service Director Brian to "go somewhere else where they will make you happy" - which I thought was his "new" job. Of course, I'm being nice here; as the way that it was said was insulting, condescending, dismissive & from his perspective aligned all the way thru Honda Sanford leadership via his GM Eugene. He even stopped addressing my wife on the call all together, as he apparently felt he no longer needed too. After 25 years of owning a Honda, and 10 years of working with AutoNation Honda Sanford (when they used to be better), I'm done. Not only have they insulted my wife & I, their lack of respect for their customers & basic service is appalling on top of ignoring a well-known issue that affects many Honda owners. Don't waste your time or money at this dealership, and be very wary in general with them - as we've read further into reviews posted by other customers & are not surprised. To add insult to injury... We have been awaiting a callback from their GM Eugene (who has yet to return my call), and their service department only picks up the phone if you're lucky. Maybe I'll try the sales line again & get transferred over, they usually pick up.

I checked online several places that buy your car outright. Most gave an upfront price over the internet. Although Autonation Honda didn't do that, since I was going to another dealership nearby, I stopped there after some emails from them to check their price. They offered $1000+ more than my best offer,(out of 5) and very close to what I had hoped. We made the deal and it went smoother than I expected. It was great working with the staff there to sell my car.

Sales and service is on point. Always a pleasant experience get my oil change. Also purchased my last two vehicles here and it made me re-think how much I dreaded purchasing vehicles before I found a home here. Also ask for Stanly he is not pushy and knows how to find exactly what you are looking for. True professional!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. We bought a used car from them in April. It ended up breaking down in October and it took them a month to get it fixed (yes I know it takes time for labor, parts to come in, etc.) but we kept getting "so and so was on vacation" it seemed as if their whole service staff happened to be out. Why they assigned a representative to my car when they knew he would be on vacation is beyond me. Good luck ever trying to actually talking to someone at this dealership. Both my husband and I would call multiple times throughout the day, leave voicemails, and texts. Not once did we ever get a call back. We actually had to go there on 3 separate occasions to talk to someone on the status of my car. With the excuse that their call system sucks, or that it's not the number. We are calling the number you provided us so yeah makes sense. Not to mention that we found out my car was sitting there for 2 weeks untouched before they did anything about it. We got the car back the second week of November......guess what Nov 30th and my car broke down again

Took my car here to get the oil changed. It was stolen from them mid-day in their possession. Yes, from their rear maintenance area. The management only communicated with us if I contacted them. Their solution was to offer me a chance to use my stolen car to trade in to buy a new car from them ( at below BlueBook value) not to mention the increase in my car insurance and associated increased of ownership. I feel this was a pathetic and insulting offer. I saw no accountability or ownership of their lack of security and my inconvenience (mental anguish to be honest). I have no trust or respect for this terrible management team. The whole experience was insulting. In short- Avoid!!
