I've heard about this place for some time, just never had the chance to get by there. So today I was at BJs about noon & went there for some lunch. I got the Green pepper cheesesteak sandwich only to go.I sure was glad that I didn't get the 10" cheesesteak. I would not have been able to eat it all. It was pack with meat, onions & green peppers. Definitely will be visiting here agaIn.Parking: Handicap parking available.

Terrible Terrible, inwas there on Sat asked for a fresh cheese steak from the grill, I didn't want the meat that was in the tin can on the grill that's meat tasted TERRIBLE. That was not Philly Cheesesteak, asked for ketchup pickles and fried onions, forgot the ketchup. I won't be back, it's was like there were doing me a favor by recooking or reheating that terrible STEAK.

This is a filthy trash restaurant, run by filthy trash people. It is the worst steak and cheese I have ever had. The restaurant is dirty as hell. And if you get delivery, your driver is filling your drinks because the people at the restaurant are too lazy to do so. Somebody who has been in and out of restaurants all day and not washing their hands is filling your drinks.

My coworkers and I visit La spada's at least once a month for lunch. I've tried most of their cheesesteaks, several of their hoagies, and salads. My favorite of all of them is the Laspada's Famous hoagie. The 12" is $15.95, which to me is a bit expensive; however, it's loaded with freshly sliced meat, cheese, and other ingredients to the point that you can't close the sandwich up to eat it. You almost have to eat it open-faced. Most of the time I'll only eat half and then save the other half for dinner. This location is very small, if you're coming for lunch you definitely have to be there right when they open at 11:00 a.m. because this place gets packed. The few tables they do have fill up quick. Sometimes we dine in, but when it's busy, it's hard to enjoy your meal with all the noise and everyone else standing around looking at you while they are waiting for their order. What works best for us is ordering our meals 15-30 minutes before they open, pick our order up, then go back to our shop to eat versus dining in. If you do order at the counter then dine-in know that your order could take 15-20 minutes to prepare. I took Nancy and my mom to Laspada's last week, it was their first time here. I ordered a laspada's famous and mom and Nancy both ordered the 10" mushroom cheese steak ($11.99), which all came out excellent The only thing Nancy wasn't too fond about was the bread, she says the bread was a bit chewy and didn't expect that. I don't know if it's a Philly thing, but the staff aren't super friendly, good luck getting someone to crack a smile. Yet they do get you what you need and overall do a great job making some delicious food. The store is not super clean, but it's not a fine dining restaurant either. All-n-all, I highly recommend stopping in to give them a try. If you don't, you are definitely missing out.

Heyyyyyyyyy you guyyyyyyyyyys! I was told by several people throughout the years that this is where it is at for the best cheesesteak sandwich. I finally stopped in. It's giving not the cleanest restaurant. It's a hole in the wall, the food is made to order the staff is friendly but the sandwich for me was by far a 5/10. Meh!

Hoagie lovers if you’re searching for one - this is the place! The original since 1938. ??We got one of each of their popular hoagies.The Mushroom Cheesesteak ~ mushrooms, steak, onion & white American cheese.The Laspada’s Famous ~ prosciutto, pepper ham, Genoa salami, Cappicola, soppressata & provolone cheese.We tore up the sandwiches like a pack of wild dogs - it was so good! Place was full off LEO…they know where the best local spots are!

I came here to pick up my sandwich, but mistakingly ordered my sandwich to the wrong location. They were very helpful and made my sandwich right away, and sent me on my way.
