I don’t normally leave reviews but i felt i needed to after this experience. Got a pedicure and was super happy and the girl was great. I then was moved to Rosa for an acrylic set with tips and my experience was awful. First and foremost she was so rude and continuously complaining the entire time which made me extremely uncomfortable. She complained about anything and everything. She complained that i had too many cuticles. She complained about her coworker talking about wanting to go home. She complained i was moving too much. She then complained that i wasn’t positioning my hands well enough for her and that i was too stiff. Her biggest complaint was that she didn’t want to be there and that it was too steady she wanted to go home. She even joked about telling her boss she had diarrhea so she could go home, after she just complained about her coworker stating she wanted to go home. She continuously cut or burned my fingers when she was drilling the acrylic. I told her about a sensitive spot on my finger from a hang nail and asked if she could cut it or remove it with tools. She ignored the request and instead informed me she was probably gonna hurt it getting to my nails because of my outgrown cuticles. Worst of all, my thumb nails on each hand are different lengths. Paid too much money for such a bad experience. Again, none of this is reflective on the sweet woman that did my pedicure, only Rosa. Won’t be back.

During my visit, I witnessed a concerning lack of service for African American women. After entering the salon, I was met with an argument among the staff about who would service my pedicure. Additionally, another African American woman who came in shortly after me was told there was no one available to assist her and was asked to return later, despite several manicurists sitting idle.
Three Caucasian women and one Indian woman who entered the salon were immediately offered service. This pattern raises serious concerns about discriminatory practices at this establishment.
I chose this salon for its convenience, being just five minutes from my home, but I can no longer support a business that appears to discriminate against clients based on their race. Moving forward, I will seek out an African American manicurist for my nail care needs.
I urge the owner to reflect on these concerns to ensure all clients are treated fairly and with respect.

I just had the best pedicure ever at Platinum Nails. It exceeded all my expectations. The attention to detail was incredible, and my nail technician , Gigi was thorough, ensuring every part of the process was relaxing and
I was very impressed by how well she listened to my concerns. I have lot of issues with pain & having a pedicure was well overdue but I was dreading it. She is friendly it was a pleasant relaxing experience. I highly recommend her.

I have driven half way across town to my regular guy for my nails for over eight years - However the commute was getting to me.. and I needed my dusty feet done ASAP!
My mother came home with a decent pedi from Platinum Nails and she said that she started going to “B” for a pedi..
So I gave him a try.. he did NOT hold back- was ON POINT! Seriously ? the best pedicure I’ve ever had! I tried this “Volcano” deluxe pedicure and it was amazing was in the chair for over an hour. My feet have NEVER been so soft - even my mother almost fell out her chair when she felt these jams ..
Nail joint is clean - friendly staff and as a walk in I was taken care of right away- MASSAGE CHAIR ? on point ; No doubt my new go to

Linda is amazing, and her nails are always perfect. The amazing thing is that she does her own nails, including amazing artwork. I believe sincerely since she wears nails, she fully understands how the nail should feel.She has now used 3 products on my nails to find what works best for me. I am not just another client to take money from. Thank you, Linda, for always giving me the perfect nails!

I started coming to this salon back in 2014. I used to see Angel, but she has since moved to Georgia. Just prior to her departure, I had moved across town so I stopped going to this place because of the drive. I tried many places between 2017-2021. Now I'm back to this place because it really is the best I have found for nails. I never get anything fancy, but I want my manicure and pedicure to be quality and to last until my next appointment. Making an appointment is easy. Just call during business hours or stop in and they can add you to their appointment book. But you can also walk in. Many of the employees have been here for years. In fact, there are still some employees there that I remember from 2014! They always have new colors so I have yet to be bored. They have other services available such as eyelashes and eyebrows etc. I cannot speak for those services. I would recommend this salon for nails. They're super nice and I never feel like they're talking about people- y'all know what I'm saying! Haha.

I’ve been going to this place consistently for almost two years and I normally have decent service. Realistically they were easy to walk in, get my nails done and the technicians haven’t cut me. Well, I got my nails done on 7/27 and they were thinner than normally but I thought nothing of it at the time. Well on the 28th I went to get a nail fixed after work because one broke while I was typing at work, mind you I’ve closed them in a car door before and that didn’t even dent the acrylic. Then on the 29th while doing laundry another one breaks. I go back to have them fix it before I fly out on the 30th the following morning. While on my trip I broke a nail eating popcorn, one while scratching my chin and then cracked when I bumped into something. I flew back late in the 6th, so I went to the salon directly after work for them to fix another 3 nails. They tried to tell me I needed a whole new set because it had been “so long” mind you it hadn’t even been 2 weeks and I’ve broken 5 nails when it’s normally 0. The tech who did my nails, at station 4, argued with me the whole time when fixing them telling me she was not the one who did the set, mind you I know I sat at her station. They did fix them after I told them I was not paying for a new set when they didn’t do them correctly and have been fragile. I plan to find a new salon because of the lack of accountability and the quality is not consistent.Services: Acrylic nails
