Amendment 7/9/25
I went in yesterday to because I lost my key to my mail box and they want $35.00!! I asked if I. Could get a hold he said next week? Some way I can get mail because I don't have that kind of money! I put in the form and I could get no straight answer from him, he was not attending to me walking back and forth to the back then back front when it was my turn, he was all over and I couldn't get any information from him and basically treated me like crap.. not a good worker at all and he's given me an attitude before. If the postmaster wishes to reply I will tell you identify him in private.
Usually excellent essential workers here. I was so impressed yesterday, the USPS mail man went way above and beyond, he delivered a package that wouldn't fit in the parcel lockers at my apartment complex on Halstead Lane upstairs to my door. I thanked him and told him you could have left a slip and he said no problem. These are good people at this post office from the year of business I have done with them. Don't cut these guys they need all the help they can get. It's a very busy office.

Many stolen packages in the past month it's ridiculous. Filing a complaint is automatically closed. Reaching out to consumer affairs and BBB as it seems the manager is in on the theft and no resolve from any case

They never answer the phone. If you go there, the line is long because no one can simply call in and find out their necessary information. Their endless spiral of laziness results in nothing getting done. If you give up and decide to go stand in line, you will hear the phone ringing, and the lazy employees simply ignore it, creating more work for themselves. Attached is a photo of the 11 unanswered phone calls I made from about 4p.m, today, Wednesday, 3/27 a non holiday) until 5pm (17:00 military time on my phone). This was the case even before the 10,000 Elon Musk layoffs. They can't blame their history of bad service on the layoffs. These people NEEED to be fired. They were clearly avoiding the phone until 5.pm to avoid doing their jobs, as they ALWAYS do.

The staff at the establishment were consistently unhelpful and dismissive. They displayed impatience when asked questions and often responded in a rude manner, making the experience quite unpleasant.

I have had 4 issues with packages of Christmas orders I’ve had in the last 2 weeks. I am disabled at the time and had to do my Christmas shopping for my son online this year. Each package my house was listed vacant when it very much wasn’t! I have called multiple times to get this fixed and each time have been assured it wouldn’t be an issue for the next delivery but each time my package is listed as my house is vacant and tried to be sent back. Well my last back was indeed sent back & now I my husband won’t get his present for Christmas. I’ve called everyday at least 10 times a day for the last 5 days and no one at either Sanford post office picks up to help me. I put my name in the mailbox & the post office supposedly listed my house as drop my packages at my door I am disabled….im an highly upset and over the whole situation. This makes me never want to order anything online again!!
