A Seafood Haven in DestinDuring our recent vacation in Destin, Florida, my companions and I had the pleasure of dining at Goatfeathers Restaurant not once, but three times. Located just outside of Destin, this culinary gem, under the attentive management of Patrick, left an indelible mark on our taste buds and vacation memories.Patrick's Restaurant is a seafood lover's paradise. The ambiance is welcoming and relaxed, perfect for enjoying a leisurely meal after a day at the beach.One of the highlights of our visits was the fantastic happy hour offered from 3:00 to 5:00. With an impressive selection of drinks and appetizers at discounted prices, it was the ideal way to unwind and indulge before diving into our main course. Went to Goatfeathers for lunch. Best seafood on vacation yet! We've tried three other seafood restaurants in the area and this is tops. Our waitress Nikki made the experience even better. Highly recommended. Freshest seafood of the trip! We tried it all...

Worst place to eat on 30a. The smell of rotten fish would kill a starving man's appetite, amazing that this dump has lasted this long in an area full of top-notch restaurants.

Finally we was able to come and dine at this place for the first time. Best experiences we ever had, food was amazing and service was top notch. It’s definitely one of our favorite restaurants at Santa Rosa!! It’s was so good we devour our main course before we could ever take pics.

Pedro is the most welcoming host, Heather is a wonderful server, and Patrick clearly loves his job and is the best manager of not just the business, but of the vibe! And best crab cakes I've ever tasted.

I've got to say this is the best shrimp I've had during our winter vacation. The breading was light and shrimp flavorful. The gumbo was superb. I'm not much of a fish lover, but I even liked the gumbo. We sat upstairs next to the big windows so we could see outside. Our waitress was very informative, and the chef customized the shrimp according to my food sensitivity. We will definitely be back and will bring all our family.

My husband had oysters, and I ordered the king crab legs. Everything was fresh and delicious!We enjoyed our visit and will try them again the next time we're in Florida.

Goatfeathers is one of our favorite places in Santa Rosa Beach. We always have a great time and the food is excellent! Patrick, the manager does a great job of making you feel welcome and will do whatever it takes to make your experience a great one.Will, the bartender, is so friendly and efficient and makes a great martini! Service is also excellent, especially if you have Gideon or Kevin. It's a great place!!

The oyster special was the reason we visited. They were delicious and presented beautifully. Hush puppies shrimp and salads were high quality. Will visit again when in town.

Picked this place for dinner. Ordered blackened Mahi-mahi. Had house salad and a Bushwaker from the bar. Also had the filet with shrimp. The blackened mahi-mahi lacked the blackened spice flavor. The tenderloin was tough and rubbery so we sent it back. Staff tried to exchange the fillet we ended up with the shrimp dinner. The shrimp was fine. Just not a $100 meal.
