My wife found Vue on 30A while looking for a place to celebrate her birthday dinner. We took another couple and had a wonderful experience. I had the risotto, scallops, and shrimp. She had a crabcake, lobster tail, and fried pear salad. Chef Isley Whyte came out to greet us. He discovered it was my wife's birthday and prepared her meal to be more presentable. It was all spectacular. When he came back to check on us, he encouraged us to give him notice next time, and while it was not on the menu, he would prepare oxtail for us. My wife couldn't wait, so we told him we would be back in 2 days. He left that evening to get the oxtail and begin marinating it.When we came back two nights late, 3 of our party had the oxtail. They said it was the best they ever had. I had the pork chop, and it was wonderful. I also started with the fried green tomato, which has to be tried to be believed. I have had many in my time, but never any that had cram meat on them.On our 4 day trip, we ate here twice and everything was perfect. We have eaten at plenty of fabulous restaurants around the world. This has to rank in the top 5.Thank you, Chef Whyte, for giving my wife a birthday to remember!

Exceptional food! Menu was full of great items. So much so, it was difficult to make a selection. Our server, Rosemary, was helpful, patient and accommodating. Definitely exceeded my expectations, we will be back!

A gem on the water you must try. The view is amazing and pairs perfectly with great service and food. Sandi provided the best service and is so sweet. I got the balckended chicken that was cooked to perfection. My husband got the fish special which was a whole branzino. We started with the calamari which is uniquely prepared and delicious then finished with the triple chocolate mouse dessert. You can't go wrong with dining at Vue on 30a!

Worst meal I have had in a long time. I had a “taste of 30A” to drink which was unbalanced, very heavy on the gin (not a bad thing if you’re into that). The breading on the calamari left something to be desired. The catch of the day was a blackened grouper. I would be surprised if it was caught today or even this week. The only redeemable aspects of the meal were the shrimp, the view, and the service.

Our first time back since Covid. The food and ambience was spectacular as always. Service was very good, but server seemed a bit nervous. Perhaps he was new to serving. Would definitely go back again.

Great place! The sunsets are amazing. My wife and I got up to take a selfy and the busser quickly asked if he could take it. Picture came out great! Great place, great food, great atmosphere, great service and super great sunset views.

One of the best restaurants on 30A. Came here for a nicer dinner and we were not let down. Our server Chris was amazing. The food was just wonderful. The overall feel and view was amazing. Great place for a nicer dinner. Make reservations for the best experience!!

This is one of our favorite restaurants to visit when we are back in Santa Rosa Beach. The service is top notch, we love all the servers but Jenna always makes us feel special and goes above and beyond to make our experience and meal the best. Chef Isley White always cooks up some of our favorites from the kitchen, his catch of the day is usually our favorite. He’s even known to personally serve his creation right to your table. We can’t wait to come back and visit!

Visited this place for the first time !! I would recommend the Mahi Mahi & Filet Mignon. Our server Jenna was phenomenal, very friendly, and made sure we were well taken care of. The chef personally came to our table to ask how the food was, he also suprised me with a beautiful birthday dessert spread !! I would totally visit this place again !

After all these years of staying in the area we finally dined at Vue, and loved it!! Best crab cakes I’ve ever had, and I am picky about that (the lemon sauce and arugula salad were an incredible touch)! My daughter had a steak and said it is one of the best steaks - she could cut it with a butter knife! Scalloped potatoes were divine and great mac’n cheese. We reserved a seat closest to the water and that made the experience extra special!! We had a reservation and while the restaurant was extremely busy (on a Wednesday night), we were sat immediately. Not a big issues, but… We felt the chairs at the high top tables were too high for the table, making it awkward. Our server was solid, but sarcastic about everything, and while it was all in good fun, it grew tiresome.Parking: When it’s busy you will likely have to park at the lot across the street diagonal from the restaurant.

We've been here several times for lunch, and the food quality has steadily declined. My spouse got a seafood cobb, and the crab was “fishy.” When he noted it with the waiter, the waiter told us the kitchen said it comes “from a can.” He ultimately removed it from the bill, which we appreciated. I had a Caesar, which was adequate, but there was a bit of an overall stale taste. The view here is spectacular, but we won't be back. Server was pleasant, but it's not enough to save the experience.

We had reservations but most likely didn't need them for a Thursday night. There were quite a few available tables inside the restaurant. Our server, Audrey, was ebullient and knowledgeable. And while we seemed to be her only table she was MIA at times. But she was friendly and recalled that I had shellfish allergy and alerted the kitchen. My husband ordered the veal chop. It was tasty but the presentation was poor. It came with scalloped potatoes (potatoes with what looked to be yellow American cheese partly melted on top) and fresh green beans (5-6 beans). I ordered the nut encrusted chicken with the same sides. The chicken was flavorful. We don't mind spending money on meals that excite us but these meals didn't match the expense. The noise level inside, and remember that there were quite a few available tables, was high. Would we return again? Probably not.

VERY enjoyable evening! Service was good, both entrees were exceptional. I had the pasta special, scallops, shrimp and lobster over pasta. My husband had the shrimp and scallops. We agreed the best meal we've had in the 30A/Sandestin area over several years. To enjoy the view, be sure to check the time of sunset and make your reservation accordingly.
