Dollar General has it's place. You can definitely save on some items. For example 2 small boxes of named brand cereal for $6, where as a small box at Walmart is $3.98 for named brands. So there is some value of you know your products and what you want. Definitely cheaper than Publix.

Went in to buy a single battery nothing else. Had no choice but to use the stupid self checkout and as I'm paying for my one item the lady came over and snatched the screen and turned it like I wasn't paying for the battery in my hand knowing I only had one thing in my hand. I'm far from a thief and the way she acted like I was stealing something was ridiculous! She had a nasty attitude when she seen I had the battery on the screen and was paying for it and snatched the receipt out of the printer and rudely walked away. Unreal treatment. If your so worried about people stealing maybe they should be at the register!

The store.is amazing, huge.collections and varieties, everything can be found, good price. Very friendly staff, and has nice self checkout too.

Very friendly staff here. Plenty of selection and the prices are a little lower than other stores. You can pick up snacks, cleaning supplies, and just about anything in here at lower prices than other retailers. Good store.

Overstocked and crammed with too much merchandise Could barely walk the aisles. Maybe just short staffed for stocking shelves.
