I’ve been shopping at the Family Dollar on Griffin Road for a while now, and it’s consistently a great experience. The store is clean, well-stocked, and easy to navigate—which makes quick trips for essentials super convenient.
What really stands out is the staff. They’re always friendly, helpful, and quick to assist if you’re looking for something specific. On my last visit, I was in a rush and the cashier went above and beyond to help me check out quickly with a smile.
The prices are unbeatable, and I love finding surprise deals on everyday items. Whether I’m grabbing snacks, cleaning supplies, or seasonal goodies, this location never disappoints.
Highly recommend this Family Dollar if you’re in the Hollywood or Fort Lauderdale area—it’s a neighborhood gem!”

“Went to two dollar trees. One on Sample by turtle Creek Walmart and the other one on Hillsborough by BJs. Both stores had variety beyond just a dollar including food items , frozen food, house hold items arts and crafts, cleaning, storage, helium balloons and many others.
The store next to BJs had better inventory.”
“Woow. Where do i begin when it comes to bargains. Where you and your wallet are smiling and dancing down each line in the store. These stores have everything for you and your house and your car and your children and your pets. These stores have balloons birthday cards and birthday bags and the birthday accessories. These stores have school supplies and art accessories & etcs. There is so much to say about these stores. But. No furnitures. Soooo. Look here gooo and check them out. But one thing that i have to tell you. You will not be able to go to any of these stores and pick up one or two items. It is totally impossible. Guess what i know first hand. “I was in the area and decided to stop in here and check out this Family Dollar Store. With Dollar Stores, it's sometimes hard to know if the store will be neat, organized or messy.... This store was not bad....not as messy as other ones I have been to, but with lots of stuff on the shelves and boxes on the aisles. Got some inexpensive cookies and some plastic wrap for the condo. There were not that many people waiting to check out, so it was a very quick process.”
“The different dollar discount stores are getting more competitive, I think. Since Dollar Tree went up to $1.25, I can now see many of the dollar stores still selling items for $1 or less.This Dollar General had some nice items that i needed for the condo, so I got a few value items that would be a lot more expensive at big box stores.Dollar General is headquartered in Goodlettsville, Tennessee. “My experience here was quite nice. I came with a friend on a Wednesday. The staff apologized that a a couple items he needed were sold out and expected to arrive in the major delivery in a couple days. I found the store to be stocked well and also found that this store had a handful of items I've never seen in a Dollar Tree before and bought them. The staff was kind and we had a couple of humorous interactions making it all the more pleasant. I would totally return. Overall the store was clean and orderly. Nothing like some of the photos posted by other reviews here.”

“I am a senior citizen and eating healthy is very important to me and other senjors. My experiences at Dollar Tree Stores are always great. However. There are items that are no longer there due to the $3 and $4 and $5 items. A lot of seniors like myself depend on shopping at Dollar Tree Stores due to our monthly budget. For instance: no more italian and regular meatballs and tall bottles of lemon juices and sherbet ice creams and various vegetables and chicken chilli and beans and can hardly find guacamole dip. “This DG is very convenient for me to shop at. The staff is friendly and helpful and some don't take any guff from obnoxiously rude customers. The place is kept tidy and clean so it's easy to find stuff. Understaffed at times so checking out can sometimes take a few minutes more than normal, but that's okay b/c if I was in any kind of a hurry, I should've gotten out of bed 15 minutes earlier that day. This store sells a little bit of everything PLUS it has Top Ramen 5pack for a buck. Other Dollar General's in the area don't compare. 5 ☆'s”

“I love this DG! I do my Saturday shopping’s here and it’s never messy, employees are always stocking and this store usually has everything I came to get. The manager however is a big reason I keep coming to this store. He is so welcoming and extremely helpful with me and my coupons lol. The other day there was an irate lady in the store and he kept his demeanor so calm and handled it beautifully. This DG is by far my favorite”
“I love I love going to Dollar General they have so many things, stuff you didn't even know you needed but you can get them there. Anything from school supplies to make-up and nail polish to food items and condiments, they have art supplies, laundry detergent and baskets, stuff you thought you didn't need or things you forgot you were looking for, you can find at Dollar General! What I like is walking through the aisles and finding stuff that I had been looking for a long time ago. I like going through the aisles and finding stuff I never thought of but things I really needed and never put on my list... and the best part is they're usually only a dollar!”
