Ridiculous wait times. I was told it would be 45 minutes wait time. Welll, that turned into a 3hr. Wait time. Totally dissatisfied with the whole experience with them. Will not return to them.

They do an exam but they do not make glasses .messed up on my prescription now I have to pay somebody to give me a new exam

Very very slow. As if our time isn't valued as patients.... Either . Might as well pack a lunch make a day of this place . Awfully slow ..

Buyer Beware:Three weeks of bad communication and they couldn't make my glasses. They told me that they would return my old glasses.After waiting several days, they returned my glasses with only one lens.Basically, they told me "tough".Be very careful believing any promises and stories they tell you.What should I do with 1 lens in a pair of glasses?

This place is a joke for your eye care. Dr Windslow is over booking his patients causing you to wait over 2 hrs for your appointment. He’s not taking enough time with patients and their concern is $$$. I had surgery on right eye then next day you come in for a checkup and have to wait 2 hrs past your appointment time. Ridiculous Doctors and staff takes no pride in patients. I’ll go blind before I use Riverside Eye Care

This clinic was excellent but not anymore. Doctors are good but you have to wait hours to see them. Clerks are not friendly and if you want notes from your visit you have to fill out a form and wait 10-15 days. Once you see the Dr and forgot to ask something don’t expect a nurse or someone to help. I called numerous times and the answer was that they were with patients… like I’m not a patient that paid the visit. I went last year (2022) and this year when I saw the Dr the nurse was not able to find my last yr record… she raised her voice telling me I never visited the office last yr. I don’t recommend this office because it take hours to see a Dr and they take forever to give the notes. I felt extremely uncomfortable with the nurse arguing that I never saw a Dr there last yr when in fact I saw him 2 times. Again Drs are good but the rest is not good. Unless you can wait 4 hrs to see a Dr and 15 days to read his notes then that’s your place

My first experience with the Riverside Eye Center was not good. The receptionist(s) said they could not find the referral that was sent from my eye doctor. This continued after five attempts from me and my eye doctor. On the fifth call I was told we just found it and then was laughed at. My eye doctor and their staff were inconvenienced along with my self. On my first visit to the office the receptionist(s) had attitude and were not congenial. I never felt welcomed by reception. All other staff members were very welcoming and competent.The only other complaint that I have is the time you spend in the office waiting. I'm happy with the outcome of my surgery, however, I would not return to this office again if I had to have another cataract surgery and I do not recommend Riverside Eye Center.I was operated on by Dr. Winslow.

I has a complete exam, including back of eye photos, they did the test twice not sure what they missed the first time.I've moved out of the area and lost my glasses, they refused to send my prescription be because it's over a year. One and a half to be clear.

Completely Unprofessional desk personnel and management. Called due to eye injury and appointment was given away while collecting insurance information. They do NOT care about their patients.

Great practice, team members, and doctors! Professionalism meets small town charm is perfected at Riverside. Sometimes the waits are a little long, but I’d much rather wait a little longer for the best doctors as opposed then get in and out with a subpar doctor.

This place is the worst for scheduling an appointment. I first tried their online appointment system which means submitting a message requesting an appointment for whatever service you are looking for. Mine, for example, was for a routine diabetic eye exam. After five weeks and no response I tried calling them for an appointment. I was put on hold immediately and then after 6 minutes I was forwarded to a voicemail system. Not falling for that again. I tried four more times.....forwarded to voicemail twice and hung up on twice. I finally left a voicemail but I'm not expecting a response. Interestingly, my doctor had mentioned I might have to schedule an appointment further out than I might expect, but this is crazy. I can't even reach them to schedule an appointment.

Just canceled eye glasses after waiting 43 days and still not arriving. Came in after about 4wks but only had 1 lens ! Still no glasses They act like I'm unreasonable to find that absurd. .Last year came in wrong ,too.The suggestion was to try them for the weekend..Over billing is always !! Watch your bill. WRONG EVERY TIME.

This place refused my much needed cataract surgery because I had complained to my insurance about the unethical and asinine policy of having to sign forms before reading set by the owner Dr steinwand ! If you're short on principles this is a place for you. There is no Golden rule practiced here !?"God doesn't sleep"steinwand.

I used to go here every year. Service is excellent. Billing sucks. They will bill your insurance and mail a statement for the difference. Who knows what that will be, $10? $400? Too bad they can't tell you what your upfront cost are.

When doing the vision test , this is the second time I have been “helped “ to give answers to numbers or letters I cannot see. You people are not helping patients by telling them what a letter or number is that they cannot see. It happened a half a dozen times today on me. Who is training these people to do this and why? Is it to make yourselves look good?- like you are helping patients? My vision is gradually going south and I deserve HONEST testing, I’m entitled to a new pair of glasses , it won’t get them because of your false testing.
