“This thrift store benefits H.A.L.O No Kill Recue which operates a shelter. H.A.L.O. stands for helping animals live and overcome. In 2006 they became the first no kill shelter in Indian River County and since that time over 20,000 pets have been saved.
In 2015 H.A.L.O. opened H.A.L.O.'s Rescued Treasures with all proceeds going to help the animals. This thrift store has several rooms of gently used home goods, toys, clothing, accessories, holiday decorations, linens, pet supplies, and more. Everything I saw was well priced and additional sales during my visit offered an extra 20 percent off handbags and wallets and 20 percent of pants, shorts, and skirts. A sign requesting people to remain dressed in the clothing room cracked me up. Know you are on camera so keep those clothes on. It is not a dressing room. LOL
Follow H.A.L.O on Facebook to see their latest inventory and sales. They have a list of items they accept for donation on their website. I love the mission of this charity. Please consider supporting them by donating and shopping if you are able.”
“Best prices in the area. They really know how to move stuff and understand the concept of thrift. I have only left there empty handed a few times in the past year and a half.”
“Amazing staff, good turn around of items, fairly priced. It's easy to forget people have bad days, but most the lovely ladies here are volunteers. Treat them with respect and they give nothing but respect back. Mary and Angel are especially amazing but I've never had any issues with a single worker here. Ignore those reviews.”
“The staff is helpful and pleasant. They have 50% off tag days but could discount more items to make more merchandise go faster. But i have been donating and shopping since the pandemic opening.”
“Beautiful stenciling outside the building which makes it very inviting to go inside. The shop is small but laid out well. Has housewares and clothing mostly. Very tiny. People are friendly and prices are good.”
