I live in CA, and my disabled father lives in Sebastian, FL. His Chevy Equinox has been giving him trouble. Another mechanic shop was unable to diagnose several issues causing the car to lose power. Eventually he transferred the car to Transmasters. This family run business has gone above and beyond to make sure my dad's car is running safely. Needless to say they fixed the issue.
I went to the shop with my dad to pick up his car when I was visiting last time. There was absolutely no upsell, and there was significant extra time and work put into his car beyond the scope of work without extra cost. They took the time to show me all the parts they replaced and explained everything thoroughly.
When subsequent, unrelated issues came up, these guys saved my dad dealing with tow-trucks and drove out of their way to his home to diagnose the problem on site, and take the car back to their shop.
It's difficult being so far away from my dad, and it's a worry not knowing if he's being treated well. The treatment he's getting is 'family' level attention, clearly taking into account his circumstances in a way that goes way beyond standard service.
Decency, care and professionalism aren't always easy to come by. I recommend these guys from both a personal and quality of work level. The peace of mind knowing my dad is being taken care of is invaluable.

My Friend Darryl took his truck and his car to transmasters and he can’t say enough about the service here. They are professional and efficient , he highly recommends this place to everyone. Friendly staff and owner. Thank you to all of you!!

Terrible experience at this shop. They charged twice as much as the DEALERSHIP for a simple part replacement. They refused to give me an estimate and I trusted them and they screwed me. Do not trust your vehicle at this shop.

I have a Nissan Frontier 20 plus years and trans give up with some other issues and Mike and his crew schedule the job in a timely manner and re built this Transmission, fix the oil leak and now ran like a champ. Mike is easy to dealt with if you have any issues, honest and friendly and as well as the rest of his crew. I highly recommend this business.

Horrible place! They are one of two places in Sebastian that specialize in transmissions. They charge you $100 to assess your vehicle. Recently I took my car there and they said I needed a new transmission. It was going to cost $6,000, more than the car was worth. Turns out it was a clogged transmission line, $250 fix! Scam artists in the flesh.

5 stars isn’t enough for this amazing shop! Called late Monday afternoon & Tianna got me in early the next morning to diagnose my truck as I had gotten a few codes when truck was scanned day before. Mike went over & above checking everything & turned out it wasn’t my TCM. He told me he’d be happy to speak with the shop I was taking it to for repair if there were any questions. Highly recommend this wonderful, caring family!! I will not go anywhere else if I ever have a transmission problem. Thank you again Tianna & Mike!! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My son drove through a huge puddle coming home from work during a torrential rain storm a couple of weeks ago. The next day we had his vehicle towed to Transmasters, and when I explained the problem to Mike he new immediately what was wrong. After checking the car thoroughly it was definitely the problem he described. Now most places would just say, you need to replace this, that, and the other thing, but not Mike. He tried for day's to fix the problem, without having to replace a single part, but the little Ford Focus wasn't having any of it, so he finally had to replace the actuators. You talk about going above and beyond for customers and Transmasters is the first place that I think of. Family owned, family operated, and family friendly.

I got a truck back from someone with major problems. Transmasters diagnosed and fixed my problems and it turned out to be far less than I was expecting. They installed a new carrier bearing, a slave cylinder, and diagnosed a potential issue in my transfer case. They worked so fast, I was never without a vehicle. They communicated and kept me in the loop and my experience overall was phenomenal! Shout out to Zury in the shop and Tianna in the office! I feel so good knowing I have a mechanic I can trust!
