If you are looking for a flight school that truly cares about your training progress and will work with your schedule to help you reach your flying goals - look no further than Sebring Flight Academy!! Not only will you get to train in brand new airplanes with modern "glass" instrument panels, but you will spend far less money during your time here than any other Florida flight school!! Additionally, they have a Redbird full motion flight simulator that offers the ability to change out panels to accommodate different types of aircraft and single/multi-engine setups. So many others are finding out about SFA and signing on, so needless to say this is a flight school that is growing quickly, and more airplanes are being added as well as flight instructors to accommodate seamless scheduling. They also offer a gorgeous home nearby for super cheap on a nightly or monthly basis if you are looking to train and fly consistently. Also Sebring Airport is a great learning environment as it does not have a control tower, so it is very conducive to learning with low traffic and plenty of area to maneuver. I have spent several hours over the past two weeks flying with Sebring Flight Academy and Chief, CFI for the school, Timothy Rex. I have to say that this is without a doubt the best organization I have ever flown with. The equipment (airplanes) are top notch and in great shape. The Bristell Light Sport Aircraft flown by this place are far superior to anything I have flown in the past. I have, over the years, had some really bad experiences with flight schools, just check my previous reviews. These instructors are exceptional (in a good way). They are very professional and thorough. I have been very impressed Their rates are very fair, which is great for students just starting out. They have put together some great programs and although flying professionally is not my thing, the the people wanting to become a commercial pilot, this would be the way I would go. I will be flying with them a lot over the next few months and see if I can go all the way through both my instrument and CFI ratings. If you want to learn to fly, this is the place to do it!

Professional flight instruction, they teach (GPA) ground proximity awareness.A great learning tool for students. it's a maneuver performed from glide slope transition to landing, you don't land you keep the airplane on centerline a foot or so off the runway the entire runway it gives you the look you need to see when you land. Timothy Rex is a great instructor, very patient and thorough, I would Highly recommend this flight academy

Sebring Flight Academy is the perfect place to go if you want to have a career in the Avation industry! What the academy is doing with the light sport airplane is unheard of in Avation! The LSA you will learn to fly in at SFA will not only satisfy the sport pilot license but the technically advanced Avionics system of the Bristell will also prepare you for your transition into the commercial aspect of today’s newer planes!
