“This was one of the absolute coolest stories I’ve ever been in. There’s actually two different stores they’re owned by the same family. One is more of like a masculine store and one is more of like a feminine, but it is so quirky and cute so many different types of tops and bottoms and jewelry and hair accessories and the whole 9 yards. It was absolutely one of the best stores I’ve ever been in in my entire life. The owners were so sweet and quirky as well. We loved it every bit of it.”

“I have been taking Paul Dobelhoff’s Tidal Tuesdays and Transformative Thursdays classes at the Morean Center for Clay since January, and I can’t recommend him highly enough. Every class is thoughtfully planned, and we learn a wide range of techniques—from slips and underglazes, Nerikomi, Mishima, sgraffito, slab building, repair, and surface decoration to glazing, mold making, and more.
Paul is incredibly patient, encouraging, and generous with his knowledge. He works one-on-one with each student and helps us develop our own creative voice. His passion for ceramics shows in every class, and he creates an inspiring environment for all skill levels.
He always reminds us to “Compress for Success” and encourages us by saying we are clay artists at the world-renowned Morean Centrr for Clay. These classes have truly been a joy and something that soothes my soul.
The Morean also offers an incredible variety of classes taught by talented instructors, and the artists you meet there are welcoming, creative, and inspiring. It has become much more than a place to learn pottery—it’s a wonderful community to be part of. I feel incredibly blessed to have found it.”
