Definitely not your typical gun store "tough guys."The inventory includes a great mixture of reasonably priced new and used firearms (with some cool oddballs here and there), suppressors, accessories, etc. I'm definitely a fan.”

There's a lot crammed into a small space, but sum what organized there is a locksmith store attached to the gun and ammo shop. Two of my favorite things in one location. Prices are normal, decent price on ammo for the range.”

It was followed up by time at the range where I could put into practice what was taught in the class. The instructor, Lawrence Downing, was very patient and made time to guide each of the 4 of us in the class so that we practiced safely with the correct form and handling of the gun and worked on improving our accuracy in hitting the target. Highly recommended!”

“I visited Deer Hunter Guns for the first time a few weeks ago. When I first walked in I was curious but not prepared to discuss what I was looking for. There were probably 5 or 6 people in the store that I thought were customers. To cut to the chase, they were all friends that enjoy the vibe of this store. Additionally, they were more than ready to answer all of my questions. I never once felt out of place with this group. Further, their knowledge was really interesting. I ended up trading in a Glock for something a little different. I was given a very fair amount for my trade in gun toward my new Smith & Wesson. I was there for quite sometime listening to these knowledgeable gentlemen. I had such a good time that day, and will be seeing them again for any of my questions or to just hang with them. “I bought a Springfield Arms 10mm with red dot here. The owner had no issue finding me the best price and ordering it for me. That was really good but we had an issue with some of the magazines I ordered being the wrong type. The owner went ahead and took care of the situation by ordering the correct mags and keeping the wrong type. The situation was resolved in the best way for me, no hassle. Cut to 8 months later. The red dot that came with the pistol stopped working. I went back to Castle Keep and they handled the warranty claim for me. You may save a nickel or two by ordering online but the customer support I have received from this company truly makes buying local much more valuable. Just the fact that I did not have to pay shipping to and from for a warranty repair makes me happy.”

“Good customer service. I didn't have any issues like some others have. I placed a decent sized order from them on Black Friday. When I received the package it was missing one of the parts I ordered. I sent an email to let them know and I got an email back with a tracking number for the part that was missing. The response time was a bit slow, but it's holiday rush and they even sent out an email explaining they were behind a little. Overall I'm happy with my purchase from them.”
