“Not that having to make repairs on your car is ideal but it is always a pleasure working with Dave's. He assesses the issue(s) and makes a game plan with you. The repairs will be explained to you in detail and put in order of necessity and safety. Always thinking of the customer first and not out to make a buck by price gouging. Car repairs can be costly and sometimes unexpected but we need our cars to get to work and Dave's knows this.
They also offer a discount to military members and road side assistance for a year with warranted services. Definitely a knowledgeable, honest and friendly place to go to have your car serviced.

2/28/2025 - I went to Honka again yesterday for an oil change (which they REMIND me via text when it’s due!!) and a new battery! They took my car right in and took care of me - even when their lobby was FULL. My car is pretty old and I have the old fashioned crank windows, well the handle on my window crank thing had broken off and I have just been making do well when I picked my car back up yesterday I didn’t even realize it until I got home that they had fixed my window crank! I hadn’t even mentioned it to them when I was there, they just fixed it out of the kindness of their heart!!

“Prior to cars unlimited I was going to an auto mechanic and Seminole Florida. I had no complaints or issues there but the services provided at cars unlimited superseded the other auto mechanic on steroids. One thing that stood out to me was the genuine concern and care the transparency and communication and the customer service and accommodations. For example, providing providing a loaner car of going to mechanics and times past where they worked on the car but I was left without a car and I would have to pay money out the pocket for Uber in order to get to and from or rely on friends or family for transportation to wherever I needed to go until my car was serviced. So providing a loaner car was definitely a huge accommodation that I'm truly grateful for. I appreciate the transparency with regard to every auto repair needed with accuracy giving me the option to this pick, choose and refuse whether or not I wanted to come out the pocket and pay for it. I appreciate the professionalism, the patience. I appreciate the accommodation of financially as far as providing services. In the event that you can't pay out the pocket for what needs to be paid, they provide loan options through outside third party resources. I have nothing but good things to say about cars unlimited. I will most definitely continue to be their customer.”

Then he had another mechanic do the same. Everything was fine ? I went to pick up my car and asked how much He said No charge ? “I was in the market for some mud tires for my Jeep and came across this shop after doing some extensive price shopping. Found this place to have the best prices and the service received far exceeded the price point. Communications were second to none; even after hours.. “Very honest!!! This is only my second job with them but every time they gave me options, plans and a end game. I am very grateful to have been referred to them. They work with you. If you are a woman that doesnt know much about cars and you don't want to be taken advantage of I recommend going here. The whole staff is honest. They even repaired what another shop did wrong on my car free of charge even though the previous shop charged me for a completed and repaired job. They were honest and let me know that it was not fixed even ordered the parts. I love them!!!!
Update: So a year later and they are still THE BEST MECHANIC IN PINELLAS PARK PEREEEIIIIOOOOODDD......They have saved me so many times....repairs are quick and if not they inform me as to why it is not. They have the best customer service and support. HONEST HONEST HONEST that is what I love the most. I will never go to another shop again. I have learned my lesson.”

“Some of the nicest people I have ever meet! My truck broke down as we just pulled into Clearwater from Minnesota. It was spitting and sputtering and we couldn't get it to stay running. It was 12:15 on a Saturday afternoon and most shops were closing for the day. I contacted this company and talked to Myles who offered to stay at his shop until the tow truck arrived so he would be able to lock my truck inside the shop for the weekend. This was very helpful for me as I had motorcycle ramps and a luggage rack in the bed of the truck that would have been difficult to get in an uber! LolMonday came and the truck started fine. Larry ran the codes, took it for a long test drive and ran the codes again. Thankfully nothing major was wrong. A day later I came and drove it about 30 miles. I turned it off and started it several times and it started and ran great each time. We drove it back to Minnesota and it ran like a champ and I haven't had any further issues. “My husband stopped by Largo Auto Center a few weeks back because the a/c wasn't blowing cold air in our truck. We are so very glad we did. He told my husband he could take care of it a few days later as he had to order the parts. He quoted a price but when we had it fixed he lowered the quote because it didn't take him very long to fix it. I mean who does that lol. He could very well of stuck to the original quote and we never would have known. It is so very refreshing to find a business that stays true to their word. In our crazy mixed up world it seems at times that all we do is complain and comment on the negative. I make it a point to give good and bad. (I do however apologize for taking so long to post this review).
We know where we'll be taking our truck from now on. We would not hesitate one second to recommend Largo Auto Center. From the office to the mechanic I can see why they've been in business as long as they have. Keep up the good work. You guys are awesome!!!”
