We had our car checked by another transmission company who would not look at car unless we signed a 149.00 diagnostic fee contract, they told us we needed an entire transmission rebuilt, which was going to be thousands of dollars. We took it to Snyder’s for a second opinion. Snyders ran a free diagnostic check and determined that there was nothing wrong with our transmission. They were professional and polite through the whole visit. They explained everything in detail to us. We will recommend Snyder’s to everyone. Refreshing to find a business that is professional, honest and great integrity.”

“I took my car into Advanced Engine & Transmission back in July because my engine was making an awful noise and with the expectation that I was going to have to spend thousands of dollars on a new transmission or at worst buy a new car entirely. I left my car there with Myles. He’s not only a great mechanic, but also a great person. He put a stethoscope up to each one of my wheel bearings because he didn’t think that the problem was coming from the engine at all and the noise I was hearing was coming from another part of the car. Turns out he was right and I just needed a new wheel bearing. I thought it was gonna cost me thousands of dollars- ended up being less than $300. Save yourself a lot of money and trouble finding somebody that knows what they’re doing who’s patient, friendly, honest and knowledgeable. Take your car in to see Myles. He’s a prince.”
“I have had Dube’s Automotive as my mechanic for my car for more than 4 years. I live in Land O Lakes now and I drive down to Clearwater because of the quality of his work and his HONESTY.
They checked out my car for me after the hurricane after it was sitting in an unknown amount of flooding. Today, he is checking it out for me as I am preparing to give my car to my niece.
When I buy a new car, which will be very soon, I will continue to make the drive to his shop for any work I may need.

“After recently purchasing two used BMWs for family, a classic 1999 M3 and a beautiful 2015 335i, a few of those inevitable older BMW issues popped up on both cars. The M3's 27 year old radiator sprang a leak from its plastic hose fittings. Tom was great about using an all aluminum high performance radiator we found at ECS tuning, a beautiful piece and cheaper than OEM. While the car was in the shop we also replaced a damaged tire and serviced all the fluids (oil, differential, gearbox, coolant, power steering, brake, clutch), and installed a set of stainless steel brake lines. I had a chance to drive and inspect the car. The work looks flawless and the car is running like a champ. The 335i work was a bit more involved I'm afraid. Even with only 36k miles, at 11 years old the car had the usual BMW leaks: oil pan, valve cover, oil filter housing. She also needed new tires and new engine mounts. This was pretty involved work. While she was in we also did all the fluids, spark plugs and filters. On pickup Tom went over everything with me and even showed me the old cracked oil pan, bad oil filter housing and old mounts. This was no doubt a messy job and the engine bay was spotless. The car's driver is shocked at how well she is running now. After 29 years living in St. Pete I think I may have found my new Euro indie shop. Communication and transparency are first rate. The shop and waiting area are super clean. Cars were detailed before pickup. Rates are reasonable and certainly way better than the dealer. And Tom, Christina and the whole staff are super positive and friendly. Thanks, Potter's! Next up, some fluids and tires for a 2020 M2 CS!”
“I got a quote from Crowne Hyundai for $4,320 to fix my 2019 Hyundai Elantra sport 6-speed manual transmission and Robco transmission and automotive did the same work for $1,750. Same warranty. How cool is that. Also, what I love is the staff all have wonderful personalities, you can't put a price on that!”

Come to find out it was something much easier and turned out to be a leak in my valves! My air is fixed and blowing iced cold all for less than $200!!!
