My cat had a skin allergy to fleas while on Advantage. They helped me get Daisy on a treatment plan that’s better for her and gave her meds to treat the skin infection. Very knowledgeable helpful friendly people. Everyone was absolutely great. And I’m a tough person to be happy about evvvverything lol ? This place is great! Very clean. Enjoy my cat pic. My vet was a young guy. He was awesome.

Took my cat to see Dr. Milena Goranove for a wellness exam and routine vaccination.I had noticed possibly my cat had fleas but wasn’t sure as I had only seen one insect that morning only and wanted to catch it before it spread. I was told after 5 minutes of an examination and vaccines that he was healthy. However the same day I noticed that he was itching a lot more, my was had multiple fleas within his cooler and coat. I called back to the hospital was just told that he was healthy and to place Revolution on him. However no one told me that he may have fleas. I’m very upset at the service that I was provided as a thorough examination did not take place and this would’ve been caught if the doctor has looked at his due properly. I’m very upset that I of around $200 for this.

I am, once again, so impressed with the care provided at VetCo. I called after a weekend of having issues with my kitty, and they scheduled me same day! Cat, the technician (no pun intended) was gentle and affectionate; calming my girl down from the car ride. Dr. Carter examined my cat and took time to answer all my questions. Cat even had me hold my kitty during injections; a confidence builder for me. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes. Prices are reasonable to begin with and if you join VetCo total care, you get even more savings. This is my third visit to VetCo and I highly recommend them. They are professionals with great diagnostic skills and gentle care for pets. My go-to vet from now on!

Do not go to this vet office if dr mile a Goanova is working. Was put in a room with my sick kitten.. 5 minutes later the assistant came in and took her in the back to get vitals..I waited an hour for them to get back to me.. they said that there was a cat in the back that had a bad reaction to a medication. I understood.. then 30 minutes later the assistant came to me and said do you agree to the treatment plan? I said what plan? What’s wrong with her? Then dr do little ( dr. Melina) came in and wanted me to agree to over 300.00 in antibiotics, vitamin injections?, a hydrating something or another…I said no… I want to know exactly what’s going on, as my cat had a sneeze and running nose. She was very rude and looked aggravated with me as I wanted more info.. I never saw her examine my cat..I hastily said go get my cat, I’m out of here. Went to an urgent care.. meds cost 60.00 and my cat was fine in a day or so…This vet should be removed from serving animals. I’m hoping she is gone now as I have noticed other complaints..I called the store and complained to the manager..She is evil and I feel sorry for the other pets and their owners that were affected by her hatefulness and negligence.

My son a daughter took our family dog to see Dr. Milena Goranove for an ear infection an a skin rash. Dr milena gave my children unnecessary medication that our dog did not even need. 10 days after seeing this vet our dog started showing signs of blindness my husband returned to the vet an was turned away we ended up taking our dog to the ER where she barley breathing due to fluid in her lungs, she was blind, she had fungal infection the list keeps going. How was this not noticed by the prior vet? The vet that turned my husband and children away mind you my daughter suffers from mental disorder. My family had no other choice but to put our sweet 4 legged baby to rest. This was so devastating to my family. Dr milena should be ashamed of herself and doesn’t deserve her position. Now my children are left without a dog. Shame on you.

I LOVE Vetco overall, however there is ONE DR there you all need to AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Her name is Dr Milena Goanova. She just about killed my cat (my cat is still not doing good) by giving her wrong medication which has made my cat so ill and then next day REFUSED to treat her. I actually started video taping this Dr as I really felt she was on drugs and in the video she clearly admits it was all her fault my cat is so ill, she always says to me that she could care less about me as an individual or my cat!! I told her she was pure evil for not helping my cat and she responded, Yes I am pure evil and I come from down below (meaning hell) Guys, I have this all on video!! She handed me a yellow sticky with a Manager's number on it and told me to report her and told me to sue her!! The woman is nuts!! I was forced to take my lethargic cat to an Urgent VET as she was beyond dehydrated and lifeless. Dr Milena Goranova REFUSED to even hydrate my cat because she claimed my cat was VICIOUS and would have to be sedated when she was already so lifeless!! I called the Manager of Vetco and he was extremely apologetic and promised I would be reimbursed for all my vet bills within 72 hours, which were more than a grand! I am not Bashing Vetco, nor saying don't go there..just warning you to AVOID DR MILENA GORANOVA for the safety of your animals. I wanted to add that I took my cat there for a simple UTI, which she gets a few times a year and they always treat her with a shot of antibiotics and she's all better within hours. This Dr REFUSED to give her shot. Mind you, I just had 2 heart surgeries and can not even lift my cat, nor do I have use of my left arm until incisions heal so her bright idea is to put her on 14 days, twice a day, huge antibiotic pills that I obviously can't do on my own instead of just giving her the shot!! After only ONE pill, she became so sick and puked ALL night and ALL morning and that when thus same Dr REFUSED to treat my cat that SHE caused to be so ill!

The veterinarian I saw was very nasty. She told me to stop wasting my money on animal care and stop playing axe throwing with a blindfold. I have taken my pet to Vetco Total Care in Seminole, Florida, since earlier this year and have never had an experience like this. Dr. Milena Goranova, the stand-in veterinarian on September 9, 2020, should reconsider their career if they're too unhappy to provide care or address an owner's concerns about their pet's health. She did not assess my dog or my concerns. After telling me to stop wasting my money, she offered "supportive care," but I needed to give her an answer in the next 2 minutes before she had no staff. My appointment was at 4:15 p.m.; I arrived 15 minutes early. I saw the veterinary assistant almost an hour after my appointment, and then for the veterinarian to come in and belittle me and my concerns for my dog and their health was ridiculous. I was early to my appointment, on time. The veterinarian seemed as if she wanted to get off early or just someone who does not care about a pet's health. Not to mention, the veterinary assistant did not know how to don and doff PPE correctly. I, as a nurse, had to explain how to handle PPE. When it came time to check out, the veterinarian assistant wanted to avoid pulling up my Petco insurance policy or Vital Care Premier to waive my examination fee. Instead, I paid the full examination fee. I will not be returning, and I will not refer anyone to take their pets here. Understaffed and undertrained. This is a field where you show compassion and empathy toward the pets and owners. This "veterinarian hospital" does the exact opposite. I've since canceled my insurance policy and Vital Care Premier with Petco. Sad.

I've been coming to this location for my cat's care for years, and never had a problem until today. My cat has a longstanding history of digestive issues, coupled with pickiness about food. I've had him on a fiber supplement, but every now and then I still have to take him in to have his anal glands expressed. Everybody has been very chill about this until today, when I get a new doc who hasn't been at this location very long and has met my cat for all of five minutes trying to tell me he has diarrhea (he doesn't, soft but formed stool is not diarrhea), tries to push me onto a food brand that has an extensive recall history for causing vitamin toxicity in pets, and tries to tell me that dry food is better than wet food for digestive and dental health (sure, if you like feeding your obligate carnivore a lot of fillers and increase their risk of UTIs). No other vet at this location has taken issue with what and how I feed my cat; I select my food based on a compromise between nutritional balance and what he'll actually decide to eat. When I tried to explain this, I got challenged by her asking if I got my advice from Google, as if it's impossible to access scholarly journals and the latest research on the internet? Granted, she looks of an age where all of her research was probably heavily reliant on a knowledge of the Dewey Decimal System, so maybe she isn't aware that science journals are available online, or that there are exhaustive databases of independent research available, so I'll give her a pass on that. What I will not give her a pass on is coming in, guns blazing, trying to insinuate that I am somehow mistreating my cat or completely ignorant about his care because he has digestive issues which are uncommon. Again, you've met him for five minutes. I've known him for two months shy of his entire life. With all this being said, the vet assistant was an absolute gem of a human, and my cat is definitely acting more relaxed now that he's had his semi-annual butt-squeeze, so I wouldn't throw this location into the fire entirely. But I will be calling ahead before any future appointments to make sure I never have to deal with this particular doc again, if not finding a new practice to handle my cat's care entirely.

Not one to do reviews ever, but this was especially terrible.I came in today with my dog, Blue, who was bit by a dog and the bite was infected by very malicious bacteria. I came in to have his bandages changed and have antibiotics administered to him per the emergency vet. When I arrived I was put into a waiting room for an hour where the doctor came by, said “I don’t like that this is injectable, I’d rather give him one orally” despite the fact that the only antibiotics that could possibly work were injectable. She then told me to resend his patient files from the emergency animal hospital even though they were sent prior to my arrival the day before due to the fact that the records had been misplaced. Afterwards she left the room for another hour; only to come back and tell me how inconvenient it would be to give blue the injectable every day for 7 days even though I said that I was okay with it; after which telling me she actually didn’t have the antibiotics I needed in the first place! Proceeding to tell me she could not change the bandages and clean the wound either. I didn’t quite catch the doctors name because I left in a hurry to get him the care he needed.Extremely disrespectful and incompetent behavior. Never coming back obviously. Don’t take your pet here they don’t care.

There were some documentation mistakes made during my visit that made me question what vaccines my dog had received and even if she received the correct vaccines during her visit. This should never be a question for a pet owner. In any healthcare environment, accurate records, documentation, etc are imperative for ensuring pets are cared for correctly. I will not be returning and recommend that folks try somewhere else.I was previously a customer of Thrive Pet care in St Pete and when they closed they referred me to Vetco.I will say, the actual veterinarian was very nice and I liked her manner with my dog. she did provide confidence that they had administered the accurate vaccine.

Long wait, never recognized for the first 20 mins of standing at the front desk. Should have left then. Lady was so worried about up-selling me then actually caring about my dog. Then insisted on a muzzle for my dog. I can understand safety but my dog was never aggressive towards her. Then I just sat there and waited longer. It was suppose to be a follow up visit that lasted 90 mins. Way to many others vets in the area

Everyone is very courteous and professional. The premises were tidy and clean. They understood that I hadn't been to the bank yet but still treated Bailey anyway. I returned after the visit and a trip to the bank to pay for the services. They were very understanding. They had a lot to explain to me about Bailey's illness and guided me through each step.I feel I have great confidence in Vetco and that my beloved will be treated properly.

The staff was great with my big guy. He can sometimes be a handful but they had him calm and comfortable for his exam and vaccines
