“I found a turtle in the road and drove here to release it over by the boat ramp. At 6:30pm, the gate was open, nobody around. The lake is huge with lots of wildlife and vegetation. There was a guy fishing but nobody else around.”

“4 stars on service due to a bit of understaffing at breakfast. The person on duty was doing all she could. Just more guests than one person could keep up with. One more person on duty for breakfast on weekends would make a big difference for many of the guests.”

“We were a tabletop of 6 and quite the demanding crew. Our waitress, Lana, was amazing and handled everything we threw her way. She was always 2 steps ahead and anticipating our needs.Solid drinks and fantastic seafood. I had the shrimp tacos (gigantic, delicious shrimp) and my husband had the grouper Rueben… wow! The restaurant itself is unsuspecting but, great food, great drinks, and incredible service. A must try!”
“We attended the Rodeo this past Saturday!!! Amazing and lots of fun. I went to other rodeos before, but they were more on the “touristy” type of events, but this one was authentic and really great. I loved it and will go again for sure”
