The only reason someone would shop at Dollar General over Walmart is the convenience of its location. They now force you to self check out which people are very slow at and it creates a line for self check out. I'll save the wait and some money but just driving the extra distance to Walmart.

I'm not from the area and have never been to a Dollar General store, but needed a few items for my trip and figured they would have it here. Surprisingly, I found the prices to be a bit... pricey? They had all the things I needed, toothbrush, conditioner, redbull... but all were priced much higher than a dollar. Like several dollars. The store smelled like cigarette smoke, but the staff were courteous while checking us out. And they had all the necessities here so def worth stopping by if you need something.

I was getting a car washed next door so thought I could stop in and find some left over Christmas cards, which they did not have, while I was waiting.They should rename their store. I bought a get well card for $2.14. It listed on the back for $2 so could have bought the same card anywhere.This particular store had some bare shelves and someIsles cluttered. Some of the more cluttered areas made it hard to look for things.The store itself was ok. It just doesn't have the Bargain's that the name, Dollar General, portrays it would have.
