We are super disappointed with this surface cleaner. It fell apart in the bearings after 50 hours of use and barely made it to 60 hours. We bought this brand new from the John Deer Dealership in South Daytona Florida. South Daytona Tractor & Mower led us to believe they were selling us quailty products under the John Deer name! This is totally not cool and was a tatal rip off. We are shoccked that they refused to stand behind a product they sold us just a few years ago. Never again!

The bottom line is that South Daytona Tractor & Mower sold us junk and we totally disagree with their evaluation of this low-end equipment sold to us by John Deer and their internal inside sales team and staff. Let's be clear, just have a serious look at all the complaints they have just here on Yelp. The BBB also has a profile on them but it is totally fraudulent in that I filed a complaint with them and it is nowhere to be found. The BBB actually deleted my relevant complaint and I wonder how many others here and in other complaint forums have been done this way. On Facebook, complaints are shut off which means it was even worse there. If we had known the reputation of this company we would have just bought this product off Amazon, cheaper. Yes, Amazon sells this and the model Simpson that they are currently selling. I bet Amazon's warranty would have been better too. We also feel that they slick-ricked us when we told them we used this for only 50 hours. The only excuse they could use was that we didn't drain the machine. Nonsensense, this product was obviously replaced for a reason.

We purchased close to $2000 in powerwasher equipment. We are super disappointed with this surface cleaner part and super concerned with all the stuff sold to us by this shady company. The product fell apart in the bearings after 50 hours of use and barely made it to 60 hours. We bought this brand new (general pump surface cleaner) from the John Deer Dealership and it's junk or totally defective. South Daytona Tractor & Mower led us to believe they were selling us quality products under the John Deer name! This is totally not cool and was a total rip-off. We are shocked that they refused to stand behind a product they sold us just a few years ago. Before you go and buy from this high-end dealer just look at their reputation and the complaints that have plied up. Run away!

Customer service is absolutely awful. The rude and somewhat arrogant employees for some reason aren't aware of what equipment they're selling/parts they're selling, not to mention the fact that a quick trip usually takes around 30 mins in the store due to this ignorance.If you're reading this and can afford to wait a day or two just order your parts online.

I ordered a throttle cable on a Thursday and I was told it would ordered today from the supplier, and we'll have it by Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest. I called Wednesday after not hearing from parts department. I was told it should be here tomorrow (Thursday). I called Thursday and was told it SHOULD be here tomorrow Friday. I requested they track the delivery and to confirm it will delivered Friday. I received a call back confirming the Friday delivery. I was contacted Friday letting me know the part was received. When I picked it up I expressed my frustration with the delay of delivery and the lack of communication. I was advised they didn't meet the minimum order required which delayed my part. Pure incompetence and poor customer service. They never apologized for the delay. I guess it's because the employees are poorly managed and lack customer service training. I could have ordered this part online however. I believe in supporting small local businesses. I will never return to South Daytona tractor and mower.

I have. Been dealing with these guys for a few years now and they have been my go to group. I could walk in there store and what I have mostly experienced a serious group of individuals that is trying to satisfy everyone as possible. We all share smiles but in a business way. They are expensive but no more than others but you get what you pay for. I have taken equipment to them for repair and it was repaired well with a warranty. I have purchased Thousands of dollars with this company and for me it has been well worth it.Thanks Team for your support.

I purchased a Zero Turn a while back, the sales staff was helpful, the delivery to my home was also a good experience. After several months the solenoid failed and I went to the store and asked for a warranty replacement and I would put it in as its a simple pull and replace and connect two wires. The person at the Parts desk advised I would have to bring the mower in for the warranty work, I asked how long it would be out of service and was told weeks as its busy season. This guy would not give me a replacement, so I bought one outright and I fixed the machine in less than 15 minutes. I started to fume a bit about a part that was under warranty and I paid over 30 bucks for it. I took the old one down and asked for a refund of my money, the answer was NO. I went home and wrote the store manager at the time the No was reversed to a Yes to his credit so I made another trip down and the Parts guy said No again . I showed him the email authorizing the exchange and the refund to my credit card. After some smart remarks about it better be a bad solenoid and some bad attitude this guy made the exchange but was not happy about it. SO, even though the manager made it right and I thank him I have have not been down to this store again as it seems to be a real hassel for line staff in Parts to do what's right and have a bit of customer service. I'm not sure I will ever get parts or service from them as the line staff don't seem to care about customer care or retention from my experience. Parts can be bought online and the machines are simple to repair. Not sure I will buy another machine from them again, but in all honesty I will make a visit and see the attitudes in that place before new purchase. Maybe they are just to successful to care about the little guy and cater to the professional. They are not consistent after the sale for sure.

Still hate South Daytona Tractor & Mower! After 20 years of patronage and many thousands of dollars spent with them, I found their customer service was consistently slow, arrogant, and indifferent, and their prices were always high. I don't mind paying top dollar for top notch service, but they didn't deliver. I just bought a professional grade ZTR mower from another small shop in Ormond Beach and they were great, excellent prices and caring, responsive customer service. Also use a shop in Edgewater that also act like they want my business and do a great job for excellent prices. I'm not naming names because I don't want them to claim that this is a fake review by the competition.The leadership at South Daytona Tractor & Mower clearly doesn't have a clue about how to treat their customers or their employees. I never saw one of their staff smile whenever I was there. I'm a business owner myself, and in this day and age of online reviews and cancel culture, you can't afford these old school antiquated customer service notions evident at South Daytona Tractor & Mower. I find their 5 star reviews with no text highly suspect as well.Maybe they'll get bought out and change management, but too late for me, I spit out the window at them every time I drive by their store. Management, ask yourselves: what kind of bad experiences would motivate a former customer to still be hating you years later, along with all the bad reviews here. They can't all be cranks.

This scam artist company just ripped me off again. they are terrible,, i took a piece of equipment to them to fix. Said they couldn't fix it so they thew it away. never called me to pick it up. then bought another piece of equipment and it already is broken. they charge full price for everything. told me to call morgan and morgan. they are the worst business in town. i have lived here for 40 years. never been treated like this. they over charge on all there equipment,, I could go on and on this company needs to be sued for stealing my equipment. BUYER BEWARE They stole my equipment WHAT A RESPEFTFUL COMPANY. "not THEY ARE THIEFS AND THING ABOUT COURT. THERE TERRIBLE. I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE THERE SALESMAN ARE TERRIBLE T0";BUYER BEWARE". THEY WONT RIP ME OFF EVER AGAIN.,
