Stay away from BankUnited. Customer support for online banking and phone support virtually non-existent. Besides, their accounts pay little or no interest. You're better off parking money under a mattress! Trying to cancel my account today but getting put on hold for 20 minutes at a stretch.

Bank personnel have always been helpful, courteous and efficient. Waiting times are minimal. Rates are competitive. Banking here is as enjoyable as banking can be.

Worse bank that i ever visit .. They make a big deal to cash a $700 claim insurance check.. The check was already signed by my financial company I was just need it to cash it and take the money over to the repair shop. . They make like a 30 phone calls to get an approval from they headquarters cuz the manager there doesn't know anything.. I explain to them everything but it seems to be that this is the first time that they saw a insurance claim checks..

I was on my way home when I decided it was time to exchange a $5 bill I found decaying in the ocean. So I stopped at the nearest bank. The teller told me that they can only exchange for customers. It was seriously just $5 and now I'll never be a customer of the bank! SO lame!
