Very disappointed with the level of communication. I took my van in for a tire change with all my tire pressure sensors working perfectly and when they returned my van the tpm sensor was broken and they claimed it came to them like that and i had to pay for a replacement. They need to learn how to he honest and have integrity and professionalism. Has anyone reading this review had this same issue with this particular store? Please comment

I am beyond furious with the abysmal treatment I received at Firestone in Southwest Ranches. Today, I felt like I was taken for a ride, and not in the way anyone wants when dealing with their vehicle.I walked in at 3 pm with the simple request to patch two tires. To add insult to injury, the staff suggested an alignment, assuring me it would only be done if the tires could be patched. Fast forward to 6 pm, and I'm hit with the bombshell that my tires cannot be fixed. Despite this, they insisted on payment for the alignment, a service that was never meant to be performed without addressing the initial problem. When I dared to question this illogical demand, the staff's rudeness was astonishing. They brazenly claimed that aligning the car and fixing the tires were mutually exclusive. The manager, lacking any semblance of empathy, only deigned to address the situation when I demanded it. I begrudgingly handed over payment just to retrieve my car, and not a single word of apology was uttered. Instead, they smirked through the entire transaction. To add injury to insult, after paying up, I discovered they hadn't bothered to put my wheel lock nuts back in the car. It's infuriating to be treated with such disdain by a supposedly reputable company. Firestone, this is not the service your customers deserve. I strongly urge you to take this feedback seriously, reevaluate your training procedures, and ensure that customers are treated with the respect they rightfully deserve.

I went for a simple Oil and filter change and I spend two hours there and I never get served. I end up taking my Kia SUV to one my Kia service centers and the next day I was set there. Unless is an emergency I will not probably go there. Every time that I go the waiting time is ridiculous.

I have rated my service so low because that day (02/18/24) when driving after my oil change. That same day I noticed my engine oil light came on which has never happened before I brought my car in and after being serviced I noticed my car was leaking oil and feel that should have been checked before giving me my car back as that that could have damaged my engine for the faulty of you guys not inspecting your work properly and giving me my car back with more issues than it had before I brought it in. I had to return and was told the oil filter was broken which caused it and is a let down because that should have been properly inspected and not require me to come a second time. Very unhappy.

Been with this branch for over 5 years. Never had a problem until now. Brought my car in for a specific warning. After waiting 6 hours to hear that they've run the diagnosis, they called to tell me that they figured it out and everything will be great. I Ok'd the work. Picked up my car 2 hours later, only to find out they scammed me for $700. Didn't even touch the warning I came in for. Then, after I have to say something, they inform me that they don't do that work. They could've told me that right from the start and I would've gone somewhere that did that work. Instead, they scammed me for work that had nothing to do with the problem. I'll never go back again, ever.

Don’t bring your car here.Took my car in for an oil change, leave and hear the plastic piece of my undercarriage dragging on the road. I brought my car back, where the manager on duty told me they didn’t do anything to the car. After I sarcastically told him it was interesting how my car came in just fine and left with the undercarriage ripped and dragging on the road, he replied that IF I PURCHASED THE PART on my own, they would fix it “for free”. I called corporate and they did nothing about it.So an oil change ended up costing me $1500 at the dealer in repairs. This place is trash run by trash. Take your car elsewhere.

Service was great. I have been going here for many years and always get treated well and with great service. Only knock is that the cost of doing a repair is getting expensive.

DO NOT BRING YOUR BUSINESS HEREI recently had to replace an inner tire rod for my car and brought it here after wards to get an alignment, over the phone they claimed I needed 2 outer tie rods and an inner tie rod. So I arrive asking for them to show me the problem with those components and there was none but they still refused to align my car as they had backed out the new tie rod that I had installed. So after renting tools and reinstalling the tie rod I brought it back again to get an alignment again they refused to align it because they were falsely claiming that my components had play in them. One of the mechanics that works there told me that there wouldn’t be any problems once I reinstalled the tire rod that they removed, I saw it for myself the only thing that my car needed was an alignment. I wouldn’t let any of my friends or family bring their cars here the mechanics are abysmal and they just want to sell you more and more parts that don’t need replacing. Easily the worst experience I’ve ever had at any mechanic.DO NOT BRING YOUR BUSINESS HEREEven if it is for something small I can guarantee you they will try to sell you parts that you do not need just to squeeze more money out of you.

If I could give zero I would. I hate that this is the closest car place to me when needing help. They advertise free air, but just sit and stare at you when you pull up! I had 4 technicians walk past and not even address me to say "good morning or we'll be right with you". Their prices suck and if you're a woman they definitely try to get over on you. I needed a new battery.. was quoted $229 plus tax on a work order, long story short my car died in my driveway so they sent out the Firestone direct truck to my house. They charged me $370! Stay away from this place if you don't want to spend crazy money on unnecessary things.

Update: I've dropped my car off TWICE more since this review. Since last Wednesday, a total of 4 times. Dropped it back off to fix a belt yesterday, another $175 and this morning when I turned my car on it was still making that noise. Just dropped it off again for them to tell me "oh it might be something with the tension. We thought yesterday it might need it but thought it would be ok." Clearly not. I hope they do not expect me to pay when (if) it's ready today. Absolutely ridiculous. Negative star rating.

Everyone thinks that I work on my own cars because I love working on cars, but it's actually because of the frequency of bad experiences with mechanic shops I've had.The appointment reservation for tire installation (mount and balance) and alignment that I made online after having my tires shipped to the store via Tire Rack was not honored even after receiving an appointment confirmation and reservation number directly from Firestone. This process was promoted as seamless, but was anything but seamless and made me late for work that morning.Later that day, my vehicle was initially released to my partner with a tire installed backwards (asymmetrical tread patterned tire with "INSIDE" label facing out). A completely careless error that caused my partner to completely waste their entire lunch hour waiting for a tire tech to remove and remount the tire. I am almost certain that this wheel was not rebalanced after doing this but I was not present and watching the entire time (something a customer shouldn't have to do), so I can't say for sure, only that I can feel a wobble from that wheel at certain speeds.I also received a vehicle inspection (upsale) that suggested that I have my brand new dampers *replaced*, not inspected, adjusted/bolts re-torqued, but fully replaced; among other things, totaling upwards of $3,000.00. Alarmingly, very obvious issues that I knew about (cracked brake line, split open rack and pinion bellows, to name a few) were not mentioned at all in the inspection, further increasing mistrust in their technicians opinion of anything.I was aware of my alignment being off by a lot because I had just replaced all of the control arms, motor mounts, inner and outer tie rods, and the aforementioned Bilstein dampers, but the car was released with out of spec negative camber on the front right wheel with a printed out explanation stating that the subframe bolts would need to be loosened to get the alignment right. You would think that this would be something that they would issue an additional quote for, perhaps including it on the $3k+ vehicle inspection report, no? No.Remember that tire that was installed backwards? My wheels were definitely not *pristine* before coming in for service, but are now in significantly worse shape after having the new tires fitted; *especially* the wheel that had to go through the process twice. The lip looked like it was hit with a ball peen hammer in spots where it looks like the tire tech had trouble with the bead. All the wheels were covered in waxy tire installation lube too, with not even a suggestion of a quick wipe down.I brought this up to the manager and it was not addressed at all. It was very obvious that the level of respect received for a customer who owns a 20-year old project car is nowhere near the same respect as a customer with a brand new car. This doesn't end though...I always check the torque spec of all of my wheel bolts (VW/Audi group vehicles commonly have bolts, not nuts and studs) whenever the wheels have been removed. This requires loosening and re-torquing with a calibrated torque wrench....but when I got home that night I could only get two bolts out using a brand new DeWalt DCF891, paired with a DCBP520 5Ah Power Stack battery pack, rated for well over *five times* (~500 ft-lbs) the torque spec (~89 ft-lbs) of these wheel bolts . I also tried a six foot breaker bar. Most of the bolts would not even budge. This Firestone location used completely unrestricted (no torque-limiting sticks) air tools to fasten my wheel bolts. At the very least, this made it impossible for me to be able to use my spare tire if I caught a flat. No one should have to come back to a shop to get their wheels off.So then I had to take a day off of work to bring my vehicle back and have the wheel bolts loosened and properly fastened and torqued down to spec myself.I will never return to Firestone Complete Auto Care or suggest them to anyone. I have also communicated this to Tire Rack in hopes that they are removed as approved installers.
