I brought my dog in. The staff were very friendly, but the prices are the worst I have ever had to pay including when I have had to go to the emergency vet. Yes, they have plans but I wasn’t told until after I had paid over 300 dollars on just the labs. I paid almost another 400 on meds. It was very much like a stereotypical mechanic as well. The vet sat down and started telling me all these things I needed to do with my dog. He is almost twelve years old so he is not a young pup anymore. I don’t think it would be a good idea to put him under anesthesia just to have his teeth cleaned at this point. His teeth are not decaying or anything just a little yellow. It felt like they were more worried about money than my dog’s health which is upsetting. The vet made sure to mention that I didn’t have all my pet records either. I informed him I had separated from my previous partner and lost a lot of my stuff but my dog had never had any issues before this. He had routine visits and his shots. The vet also lied to me. We had discussed my dog going on an arthritis medicine. He said I could get cosequin on Amazon, but then they charged me for the more expensive version they had there. Suffice to say, I will be looking for a vet who is more concerned about my dog’s well being and less about how much they can nickel and dime me.

I took my new puppy there because she was limping. They took her in right away same day to be seen. They are loving compassionate kind and they care about your animals. There's no other vet I would take my furbabies to. 5 stars. The ladies up front are absolutely amazing and the Doctor's care. They take the time and answer all your questions & concerns.

Just called Banfield to have my animals food prescription renewed. I am out of the state for the next two months to help a family member, and this Jillian, who was rude, kept telling me she would not refill it until my little girl was seen again in the office for a visit like two months is really going to make her break them. She was rude obnoxious tried telling me that my animal was not seen for several years which is a lie. I asked to have Dr. Deutsch call me back and she refused.

We brought our 8 weeks old puppy there for her fist puppy shot. Every one was very professional. The facility is clean and comfortable. They had us correctly in the computer even though our last visit was in Ft.Lauderdale.We were then brought into a room where we were explaining that the puppy had to stay the day and pick up would be at 4:00pm.I understand that would take time to cut the nails, give the shot, and do the deworming. However, it would have been nice to know that I would have to come back in the afternoon ahead of time. That being said, I been very happy with all the services I got from Benfield. The puppy was happy to see as upon pickup and everyone was extremely professional and caring. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my baby ?

Been going there for 10½ years. Excellent pet care. Dr's and staff are always friendly, know dogs by name, and appointments are asap!

The list of grievances I have with Banfield are many (and I go into detail after the summary), but the point is NEVER take ANY of your animals here. They lie to you about how they care for your animal, you can never get in to see a vet/book an appointment, (if you can get in)they never let you back with your animal so that you can see how they're treated (and more often than not they come back untreated and terrified), they're massively overpriced, and they WILL NOT LET YOU CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION. DO NOT BUY IT.Specific incidents:-their vet techs constantly yanked my dog with a pre-collapsed trachea (which their vet diagnosed) around by her neck with a slip lead, despite me telling them to use her specialty gear, causing her discomfort for the rest of the day-they're unable to do basic diagnostic work on my dog or trim her nails, despite saying taking her into the exam room without her owners would be better for her (my mom and I can restrain our dog but they can't??)-they constantly told us we didn't have refills for my dog's medication in-office despite telling us to come in to get it over the phone, causing stress and wasting our time-their medication is extremely overpriced ($20 for 6 trazodone???)-they lied to us about giving vaccines to our immunocompromised cat (we would have been fine with him getting vaccinated if the doctor didn't specifically say it might be harmful to him)-they lied to us about the quote from Bluepearl to do diagnostic work on my cat (they said it would be $4000 to get into the door); however, my new vet actually got me a quote from Bluepearl and it's actually closer to $1000. We're still not probably going to end up doing anything other than making him comfortable because his condition has gotten to the point it is most likely inoperable but it would've been nice to have that option when he was younger.-we've been trying to cancel our subscription with them for about a month now but they're saying we have to wait until May (meaning we still have to pay them close to $50 a month until the LET us cancel our subscription, even though we will never step foot in there again).

I get my dogs rx dog food here I am glad to know I can just drive there and pick up a bag and not have to worry about ship time. I don’t know how their emergency services are though so I can’t speak to that. Facility is very clean though and front staff friendly.

My wife and I had to euthanize our 12 year old pit bull, Hyuk. He had cancer and was suffering from it. These guys did a wonderful job, and we're so caring and professional! They use Pet Angel for the cremation services, and we love them! The prices are very reasonable too! We will definitely recommend them to all we know.

The utter disappointment I feel having to write this review saddens me immeasurably. I used to work for Banfield Pet Hospital and thought it was going to be a safe place to bring my senior Great Dane where she would get exceptional care and treatment. Sadly, as so many other things these days, this was no longer the case in the Banfield Pet Hospital of today. Let me start by saying that I feel the Doctors did provide good care for my pet however the rest of the staff were a huge let down. We never would have been allowed to act the way that I was treated when I worked at Banfield. I was flat out lied to by medical staff who stated that my dog had only been out of surgery for 90 minutes when really she had been done for 5 hours. How did I find this out? I had to call and check on her because no one contacted me and as a Great Dane owner I was understandably anxious to make sure she handled the anesthesia well and to pick her up as soon as she was safely able to be. Instead, after having to call and check on her myself I was told she could be picked up in 45 minutes which meant that she spent a total of 7 hours pointlessly sitting in a kennel when she could have been home. I waited 40 minutes in the waiting room before I was acknowledged by any of the staff to be able to pick up my pet. This experience caused me to look back at her medical records and this is when I found out that I was lied to on multiple occasions about my pet’s care. That is unacceptable to me and I caution anyone who continues to go to this vet to REVIEW YOUR MEDICAL NOTES thoroughly. Parts of her Annual check ups were never completed so you pay for a Standard of care that you are not receiving. Staff was rude, snippy or ignored you completely. Shame on Banfield for allowing this treatment of their customers. They are obviously too busy with too many patients daily to offer the kind of care most people should be able to expect. Lack of communication was just the tip of the iceberg of issues that I experienced. Lack of personalized care for your particular animal shows that they have outgrown what they can handle in terms of providing excellent medical care so if you are looking to be just another number among many this is the place for you! If, like me, you treat your pet like family you will probably not enjoy the lack of communication, drop offs where they keep your pet the majority of the day to do an exam that should only take about 45-60 minutes, and the medical notes that tell you work wasn't completed that should have been and that you were sent home with things that you were never even told about nor did you receive said items. (i.e. urine sample collection kit) Overall, if I could rate my experience a zero that is exactly what they have earned.

Banfield was able to see my dog the same day I called about her stomach issue. They were quick to diagnose the problem and gave us the medication we needed. Great service!

On Monday, June 26, I called and made an appointment for my cat who was suffering from a UTI with Dr. Dortch and her team, I was able to get an appointment for him the following day. I brought him in, everything seemed to go fine, a urinalysis was pulled and it was confirmed that he did, in fact have a UTI; I was called by a tech for approval of an injection that was supposed to last "14 days" I thought it was odd and asked but after reassurance from the team, let it go and approved the charge. Whatever my cat needs to be healthy right? Wrong, on July 17 I brought him in for a follow up exam, as well as a Comprehensive and one of his vaccinations was due. I, along with a family member had back to back drop offs for our pets, I brought him in and when his appointment was only referred to as a recheck, I asked if he would still be receiving his vaccine or if I had to go on and book a separate appointment for this service, I was snapped at by the person doing my intake. I was told that "we DON'T give vaccinations to animals that are on antibiotics", I said okay and figured lack of coffee, it was 7 in the morning so I could completely understand, was told that they would give me a call BY 3 to let me know what was going on (i.e., results of his urinalysis and what antibiotics he would be on). 3pm rolls around, then around 3:30 I begin to get a little nervous and decide to call, figured they could at least give me a timeline for when he may be done, I was told that they were never able to even pull a sample his bladder is "tiny" and they gave him fluids but couldn't pull anything and that he was anxious, yet they never deemed to call me. I used to work in a vets office so I was a little confused as to why A) no one reached out to ask for approval for a different method, I have NEVER said no to anything that my cat has needed in the 2 years he has been with me and treated at Banfield and B) I wasn't informed of this so I could take my cat home to a less stressful environment. I was informed they would be sending him home with antibiotics, then I was told he was also given his vaccination, and that I should be able to come pick him up. I arrived at the office and was ignored by the receptionist, it took 37 minutes for someone to even acknowledge me; my cat (who has ridden to Virginia and back with my family with no accidents) then had his first and only accident in the car because he couldn't make it 20ish minutes for us to get home, some tiny bladder. I started him on his course of antibiotics, ran it through and everything seemed okay until we got to Sunday, July 30. Because no one attempted a different method to pull the second urine sample, and treat specifically to what they were seeing instead of just giving him broad spectrum antibiotics, there was no realization that crystals were forming. I had to take my cat to the AEH yesterday, there was a blockage and thankfully I caught it early. I put Banfield down as my animals primary, after an overnight stay at AEH he needed to be moved somewhere for monitoring, and due to the overbooking that Banfield likes to show is their "standard of care" my cat was refused, and I was left scrambling to find a local vet that could take him while he still has a catheter in for the next 24-48 hours and receives around the clock care. I was shown no level of sympathy or care for my pet that has been a patient since he was 3 months old, no regret for the fact that an otherwise perfectly healthy male cat at the age of 2 needed emergency care because someone down the line made a mistake and wouldn't own up to it. Safe to say I will be switching vets, I have canceled my plan and will take my cat to a vet who can actually care for my animal instead of playing the "how many animals can I fit in a day just for fun" game that Banfield seems to love. IF you are someone who has a pet, DO NOT SETTLE for vet's offices that treat you like this.

We brought our 14 month old German Shepherd there For what we had thought was a cough.. They told us they will take an X-ray which we approved. The Vet decided not to do the X-ray and instead just did blood work and said he had an infection so they prescribed him antibiotics. This led my dog to lose his appetite and did not want to eat. We had called to speak with the Vet ,did not hear back at all.The person at the front desk never informed The vet at all. We took our dog to the emergency hospital. They took an x-rays and discover that his white blood cells were very high, he had pneumonia very bad. They are taking no chances and prescribed 3 different antibiotics and advise us We should take him to see a specialist. My dog's life would not be in Jeopardy If they would have taken the X-ray that we approve for then to do, our dog situation wouldn't have been what it is now. HOPE MY DOG DON'T DIE.
