This was the second year I had both my girls here and they have learned so much and had a great time! Ms. Donna, Ms. Maria and Ms. Melinda were amazing throughout the time my girls were there! This is goodbye until next time and it’s so bittersweet because I loved coming there to pick my girls up, each year they had so many cool projects and things to do, parties, dress up days, and so much more! They made my girls get excited for school, they thought my girls about writing and the sweet momentous they gave like the binder from the beginning of the year with my girls’ progress in writing their name, letters and words! Just so thoughtful! The beautiful memories, hanging out after school with friends playing and talking with the parents too, definitely going to miss it and thank you all for the wonderful memories and support ♥️♥️♥️ my girls are already talking about coming back to see the teachers next year! Thank you thank you thank you!!!

If you’re super nervous about sending your clingy child to school, this is the place and these are the Best teachers. My son was kicking and screaming (literally) about going to school. Mrs. Donna and Ms. Maria transformed him into someone who loved school. They go out of their way to give the kids a AMAZING pre k experience. I could not of found a better place or better teachers to send him to for his first school experience. Thank you Ms. Donna and Ms. Maria! We truly appreciate you and will miss you dearly!

My son just finished his VPK year in Ms. Donna and Ms. Maria's class. I could not possibly recommend Discovery Point and Ms. Donna and Ms. Maria more highly. They put their heart and soul into creating an exciting, supportive and loving first school environment for the kids - and the love they have for our kids and their education is apparent in everything they do. Communication between school/teachers and parents is fantastic as well making life our lives that much easier - I never had to go far to know exactly what was happening in the classroom. To anyone looking for a VPK program - this one is THE ONE!

Ms. Donna and Ms. Maria, you guys are the best! It was very hard dropping our son off for vpk but you guys made us feel comfortable from the start. Words cannot express how lucky we are to have had you guys teaching our son. Thank you so much for everything.

miss donna and miss maria are great.
my son went there for the afternoon vpk this year and absolutely loved it. it made me happy seeing him coming home everyday with a smile and excited. i highly recommend this place and miss donna/ miss maria for any parent looking for a place for their babies!!

Discovery point- silverthorn has been a second family to our kids. We are so thankful for Mrs. Donna and Mrs. Maria for being the best teachers to our boys. Both our sons are excelling in school both academically and socially and just love to learn. We know it has been due to their start at discovery point and having Mrs. Donna and Mrs. Maria as their teachers! Mrs. Donna and Mrs. Maria are truly the best teachers, they treat their kids with love, kindness and help them to reach their full potential. We highly recommend discovery point to all of our families and friends!

This facility is by far the cleanest, most professional and well organized daycare I have yet to come by.
I was beyond nervous to make the change in daycares when I felt it was time to leave our previous one. Though I had wanted Discovery Point initially, I was hesitant after experiencing daycare elsewhere, wondering if I would ever find a place that I could truly feel confident and comfortable leaving my child there. Wondering if her emotional, physical and intellectual needs alike could always be considered. Whether she would always be treated right, in an environment that aims to help her flourish and grow in all developmental areas.
Well, this daycare provided nothing shy of above average treatment, education, safety and love. Starting in the three year old class, my child quickly acclimated to her new surroundings and mommy quickly realized it wasn’t normal to feel uneasy about your child going to daycare each day; we were just at the wrong daycare.
Then we moved into our VPK class and let me tell you, this is where the magic happened. These teachers took on a large group of kids and somehow found a way to individually learn and bond with each and every one of those children. I trust these teachers with my child more than I do other family and friends, and that says a lot.
Ms. Lindsay and Ms. Melinda, in particular, are two women; two educators, that exemplify excellence and integrity in all that they do. These teachers set the bar so high, exceeding expectations is an understatement.
From showing up every day with a positive attitude, to teaching and leading by example in every lesson they teach; these ladies made it easy for me to keep up with helping my child grow into a respectful, intelligent and loving little human. These ladies knew each cue, each look and each individual character trait that make our children unique, and they used these to help the children grow, learn, process their emotions and overall develop in what seems like such a short period of time.
They also provided their undivided attention to myself whenever I asked for it. They listened and they catered to my child’s needs with compassion and empathy, whilst still distilling the importance of structure and respect into a young, growing mind. Creativity and freedom to learn at their own pace was the forefront of their teaching style and my child’s scoring at a third grade level (in VPK) is only part of the proof in their success.
I could never actually put into words how grateful I am for these ladies and all the staff at Discovery Point. They are examples of people who are meant to do what they do. Thank you to each and every one of them for their time, talents and efforts into loving our kids as much as we do!!

Could not be happier with our experience at Discovery Point Silverthorn! Ms.Donna and Ms.Maria are top notch VPK teachers who made an absolute difference in my son’s first school year! Not to mention my daughter who is now a teenager still talks about the memories she made and Ms.Donna and Ms.Maria! It’s comforting to know that many of the same faces are still there including their director Jill who is amazing at what she does! We love Discovery Point!

My son has been going to this school since he was 2 & he's now about to graduate VPK! This is hands down the BEST daycare with some of the BEST teachers! Mrs. Jill is wonderful! My son's VPK teachers Mrs Lindsay & Mrs Melinda are truly the greatest. This VPK year has flown by & they have taught him so much & shown him unwavering love. I have never seen two teachers pour so much into their kids. i have never felt so safe leaving him & will truly miss these teachers. I wish they teach him forever! I wish time would slow down. These two teachers along with the whole daycare deserve all the praise!

Discovery Point is such a wonderful facility. The staff are friendly, the teachers get to know your child and their personalities and help them grow and flourish, and it seems all the staff get to know all the kids. No matter what time I drop my son off or pick him up, all the staff say hello or goodbye to him by name, he loves it! My daughter did VPK and my son has been going there since he was 6 weeks old (now 3.5 years old). My son gets excited every day when he knows he’s going to daycare to see his friends and teachers. What a great environment for kids to grow and learn in.

Our son has been coming to Discovery Point Silverthorn for over 1.5 years and absolutely loves it! The staff is always friendly and the teachers do wonders with the kids. Would highly recommend Discovery Point Silverthorn to any of my friends or family without hesitation.
