Dollar General offers lots to choose from in the store, with reasonably priced merchandise including cheaper prayer candles. Customers often get side tracked and pick up other nice-looking items. However, the aisles are crowded with merchandise and the store is busy, leading to a line to checkout no matter the time of day. There is typically only one cashier and one self-checkout, which is not enough. The self-checkout option that takes cash is often broken. The employees are friendly. Many have been coming to this and other locations for years.
It’s a Dollar General. It’s not a classy joint. Store is messy and cluttered. Some associates are nice, some hate their lives. You pay convenience prices for most products. It’s the store you go to if it’s close to home.
