Walked in for a fill-in, and immediately felt the rudeness. The lady at the front desk was very cold and short with me. She was rough with my hands squeezing tight and moving roughly. There was no warm welcome or positive vibes from her and I’ll never return. I am a content creator who creates content/reviews for salons, restaurants etc. I’ll be posting a video of my experience at Nail Star soon.
As I read the negative reviews, I see that there are others that had similar experiences with her/ front desk.
If I could’ve rated the nail shop a zero, I would’ve!!

Horrible,I been there off and on for 10 years,giving them chances after chances,because the owners seem to have nice personality and it's the closest to my house,,my fiance even bought me a gift card for 100.00 bucks,that I never finish using,anyways,always was an issue with the new very UNPROFFESIONAL workers,but guess what ?the last time was the WORST,the New lady cut the top of my foot with the cheeser took a chunk of my meat off,I bled like crazy,she kept shoving mh painful foot in the water,so I wouldn't see it,then finally gave me a bandage,and they still charge me for pedicure,never called to check up on me or nothing,I suffered for a month for this thing to finally close up ,after my boyfriend out neosporin and bandage everyday ,so dishearting😔

Beware of the surprise charges! Went with my daughter and instead of acrylic full set they gave her a gel full set without permission and upcharged, then continued to do gel and design more upcharges without permission. The results are good, however the nail tech cut the cuticle on my daughters hand by mistake with the drill. Pedicure was great quality although they have too many options and I chose the $60 lavender kit and when checking out they charged me 65 instead, not even worth complaining about I'm never going to come back.

Scott and Kim were very welcoming. I was running out of time, mother of 4 and stressed about finding a place to fit me in. Kim assured me that it was no problem and squeezed me in! I felt terrible having them stay late because of me but they took the time did not make me feel rushed and I left very happy! I highly recommend them. Scott was the one who did my full set and pedicure!

I called to have old nail tips taken off and was able to be a walk-in. I am very satisfied with the gel manicure I did and would recommend Nails Star to friends and family.

Had my nails filled here. Highly suspicious that MMA was used instead of normal acrylic. I went to soak them off after 3 broke within the first week and it was borderline impossible to remove - was extremely gummy and sticky and I have never had that issue with soaking off previous acrylics. I googled what could cause this and all searches pointed me to MMA being the culprit that would do that. With more research i even saw that MMA is dangerous for pregnant women and being that I walked in to get my nails done and was quite obviously 7 months pregnant im really hoping they arent using that product. Like i said im suspicious based on me removal experience and non expert research - but I wont be coming back just in case.

The gentleman who did my pedicure and manicure was very thorough, gentleman, and a nice massage on my feet and legs. Very pleasant atmosphere.
Cleanliness: It was a clean nail salon.
