Truist provides banking services with some temporary adjustments for health and safety, including drive-thru teller services and appointments for in-person visits. Customers report both positive and negative experiences. Some had great experiences where staff resolved account challenges helpfully and efficiently, with friendly service that made them feel comfortable and willing to return. Other experiences involved long wait times, even for those with mobility aids, which nearly led to closing an account before a counselor resolved all problems. Service quality appears to vary.
I have been a long term client of SunTrust, now Truist. I entered the drive through (no waiting thankfully) at 1040am. I deposited 2 checks with some cash back. Three commercial clients came and went. Finally, at 1057, I’m done. OMG. SLOW. SunTrust’s merger have been 10 giant steps backward

Great experience! I came in regarding a challenge situation with my account and I was very well taken care of. Definitely going back if I ever have any issues with my account. Thank you!

After 3-4 calls I had to go in. btw I have to use a walker. My son and I waited over 45 minutes for a counselor helped us. I was ready to close my account. Thanks to Anthony Tyler, he took care of all my problems. Or I would have! He is GREAT!
