Was planning a party 90's (of R&B, Rap, & Hip Hop music) theme party to be held here. Went through all of the precautions speaking with the people at the location & confirmed before sending invitations out that the DJ would be there to provide the old school sound. Thank God I called the week prior to validate everything with the location again to find out that there was a fee for the section we wanted & we needed to do a contract which we asked about when we initially spoke with them. I advised no problem and confirmed again the DJ would be there. This is when the foolery started with giving me the run around. Needless to say days go by with me call daily keeping on top of them to find out the DJ cancels which I understand they have no control over but how they handle the situation. Instead of getting another DJ to provide the same sound they get an live band who plays rock, country & pop. I have nothing against that music but you contact me after you book them. I advised them this would not work for us, and asked if we can provide our own sound or DJ. They said they would get back to me & never did but instead scanning my calls dodging me saying there is nothing they can do because they have people planning to come see a group who they booked over my event. Now we are out trying to find a location days before the party which we may have to cancel.

So good! We come from Plant City and it’s worth every mile! We have met amazing people and danced the night away to the most awesome and talented bands. Tonight, Borderline was spectacular! Let me say, the respect bands show each other was on full display tonight. The Jorge Valentine Band was in the house and the Borderline Band Tampa Fl brought them up to sing several songs with their band. Jorge Valentine and Michael Clemente killed it. What a surprise bonus treat for the crowd. The respect between these two bands was on full display tonight and totally stand up! I am so glad we made the trip as a last minute decision. Thank you Uptown Bar & Grill for your great team and bartenders. You never disappoint 🙂

When we walked into the restaurant, the delicious smell made us excited to try it. We prefer sitting at the bar when we go out to eat, so we took a seat. We were immediately disappointed by the staff. The servers, shuckers, and cooks all made a point to ignore us, looking right over our heads. Some of who were doing absolutely nothing! Arms crossed just standing there. My husband had to get our own menus. We were never greeted, or even given a smile. After about eight minutes of being completely ignored, we left. We were sitting directly in front of the service station, so there was no way the staff could have missed us. This was a disrespectful and horrible experience that's a bad look for the beautiful town of Port St. Joe.

The only saving grace for this place was DJ Willie on Friday. First, and last time I will set foot in there. One blonde waitress in particular, was completely dismissive and rude when we asked if we could order food. Luckily another waitress, got to make great tips. The food was what you'd expect at a place like that
so eat before you go there. Again, if it weren't for the resident DJ, I would have opted for a hard-pass on this place.

We went there Friday night, they had a DJ playing Latin music.
We had a very nice time. We went back Saturday night and they had a live band TS & Sass, nice sound, they played 80s music.
We had a blast! Customer service was excellent. No cover charge.

What great service. Wendy was our bartender and she was so kind and made us feel so welcomed. Will definitely be back with family & friends. Looking forward to Latin night on Friday!!!

Last night was the worst night my family and I had. Went to see borderline like we do and we are friends with the band, well we had a waitress her name is Diane. She
Ignored us for drinks and it took just about 30 mins to get a beer, she seen me waving her over though still deciding to attend those with hard liquor... well, we are not happy and DO NOT WANT HER AGAIN. She was a lazy, well seen others waitress go by may 100 times. I feel we had bad service from her and it wasn't only this time I have had her when there. I don't thinks she should be fired, just trained better and not Ignore customers who don't drink any liquor. All customers should be taken care of, regardless if they are eating, drinking, or just visiting.

I go every Friday night latin night been going about 2 months the atmosphere is so awesome the dj is the bomb I won first place Halloween contest black cowboy lol!!!!! Latin people are so friendly they don’t mind teaching u how to dance and they love to have fun great place keep up the good job

Food is horrible, more like junk, music was ok, not many people dancing on lating friday night but saturdays looks better, alcohol drinks are very expensive...parking gets packed
