“Great little shop with items from local crafters and artists. Paintings, photographs, ceramics, jewelry, books, knick knacks all with a range of prices. I love supporting local small businesses!”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Guy Harvey Resort for a mother-daughter birthday trip to St. Augustine. The location really can’t be beat—right on St. Augustine Beach with easy beach access, a nice pool, and just a short drive to the Historic District. It was the perfect balance of relaxing by the ocean while still being close to all the attractions.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the beachy atmosphere throughout the property. It was a little noisy in the room, hearing hallway noise. Umbrellas and chairs for the beach are provided at an extra charge. I wish it was included in the hotel cost rather than a separate charge.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and always greeted guests with a smile. The lobby had ice cold water with fresh fruit or lemons or cucumber. The resort made a great home base for exploring St. Augustine.

If you’re looking for an affordable beachfront hotel with a relaxed vibe and a convenient location, I would definitely recommend the Guy Harvey Resort. We’d happily stay here again on our next trip to St. Augustine!”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day experience! From the venue, the staff, and the service, everything was PERFECT. We worked with Ashley and she helped us with everything from the big details to the smallest items right up until the last minute. They were so accommodating and allowed us to do some meetings via video chat since we were 10 hours away. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing on the wedding day. What you get at the The Treasury is beyond worth the money and the professionalism and care is unmatched. Can’t recommend enough!!”

“I stayed here for four nights in June and had a wonderful experience.

Room:
I stayed in the St. Augustine Room, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I usually don’t sleep well unless I’m in my own bed, but I slept through the night every night of my stay. The bathroom was nice and spacious, and the water got HOT! I was also pleasantly surprised by how well the air conditioning worked. It’s Florida, it was close to 100 degrees outside, and this is an older house, so I wasn’t expecting the AC to keep up. It kept the room cool and comfortable the entire time.

Breakfast:
For the people saying the breakfast portions are small, I honestly don’t know what breakfast they were eating. I’m over 200 pounds, love food, and I’m from the South. I can assure you the portions were more than adequate. More importantly, the food was absolutely delicious. You could tell whoever prepared breakfast each morning put genuine care and love into it. I looked forward to breakfast every day.

My only suggestion would be to offer the option of having breakfast wrapped to go or delivered to the room. I’m not much of a morning person, and eating in my room would have been a nice option. That said, the quality of the food more than made up for it.

Staff:
The staff was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. I had to do some work during my stay and ended up taking over part of the dining room with my laptop, iPad, and other work materials. Not only was there no issue with it, but a staff member even helped me rearrange things to make my workspace more comfortable.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would gladly return.”

“This review is a little late... My wedding was in September 2025. I had been planning my wedding and was looking for a place in St. Augustine to host my reception. We're from Miami so searching for a location was not as easy as it seemed. I stumbled upon Pena-Peck House while in St. Augustine for a weekend and searched it online (they were closed while I was there due to a holiday). I thought it was exactly what we had been searching for by the photos and what I could see from the outside. I decided to contact them and they replied quickly letting me know they were available and offered to show me the location through facetime since I could not go physically to see the location once I got back to Miami. I agreed and fell in love with the location through the phone. They were super helpful and friendly throughout my wedding planning journey and I was finally able to see the location in person a day before my wedding since they graciously agreed to let me drop off my decor. It was PERFECT! It fit all 80 guests perfectly with room to spare and all of my decor went beautifully with the venue. I had minimal florals because I knew this venue had a very green and garden look, so a lot of flowers weren't needed. They set up everything perfectly and made the process very easy. My only concern with them was the set up and break down time. They only allowed us to begin set up 3 hours before the reception and 1 hour for break down... It would've been nice to give my coordinator more time to set up... Some things were not done properly, but I could not fault my coordinator because 3 hours to set up is NOTHING especially for a wedding. That is my only complaint. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Edit: Thank you for your reply. That was not communicated to me. Another thing that wasn't communicated to me while planning was the lighting situation in the tent. I asked for lighting 2 weeks before my wedding because I had realized and asked to confirm that the tent did not come with lighting. I feel like that should have been communicated when we first spoke about the tent. If I wouldn't have asked, my guests would've been eating in the dark.”

“Just spent a fantastic weekend in the city and Casa De Solana had the perfect accommodations. Room was spacious and clean, the sheets were soft, and you could almost say there were too many pillows to choose from. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and Oliver was the best host. We met some other very nice couples during the social/breakfast, and overall everyone was very nice and welcoming.

Yes, parking is not the best as you do have to walk a couple blocks to their designated parking. However, the BnB is situated very close to downtown and everything is pretty walkable in the city. I would not recommend this hotel if you require mobility assistance. However, if you're ok with a little cardio, then I would absolutely recommend staying here. We will be back!”

“It was a great concert but we spent over $150 per ticket. We were center stage seventh row back but the seats are so freaking tiny if you don't weigh under 100 lb. It's a very tight squeeze and they're zip tied together. I have to say I was definitely disappointed about the seating to pay that much and to be crammed in there was a little disappointing. I just know for next time not to get seats in the pit but I would definitely go back”

“Casa Monica is in a great location in downtown St. Augustine. The service was great, from the valet to the restaurant/bar. Thank you to Jake, Matt and Yarrick for all of your help in valet during our stay. Rona and Molly in the bar were also super accommodating and helpful. Can’t wait to come back soon.”
