I’m a handicap veteran and I require the support of a scooter to get around
The scooter rides on a lift on the back of my van in the course of our vacation. The lift failed. I contacted A&R. Explain the problem took it to him 15 minutes to Sort out the problem. I’m back on the road for those that need help with something like that. Give them a shot. I couldn’t be happier with the help I got.

There’s no way I could have received the service I just did at A&R and not leave a review. These guys know what they’re doing and to say they’re fair with their pricing is an understatement. I needed an alternator changed on my vehicle and they had my car back to me in less than 24 hrs. This is the third job they’ve done for me in the last few years and if I need anything else done in the future, there’s no doubt that A&R will be my go-to place.

I selected A&R automotive electrical repair because I felt my classic Datsun 720 camper needed experienced technicians to repair several issues, ranging from a seemingly faulty, air conditioning switch to a major short and loss of most electrical components. In less than three hours the expert at A&R had the problems solved with the discovery of excessive corrosion in the fuse block, and that issue took care of all three problems? the bill came in under estimate and I am very happy with the repairs. I ordered the wrong part for my car. But they went above and beyond to try to get me back on the road. We were unsuccessful but they were extremely helpful and went out of their way. Definitely appreciate they service and honesty and will definitely be back.

Had an electrical problem with my 2020 Toyota Camry and was told it was the voltage regulator. Call A&R and explained the symptoms and was told it was more likely the battery. Went to them, they tested it and found it to be the battery. They will get my business from now own.Service: Electrical

I needed a replacement starter for a diesel marine engine. A&R didn't have one in stock but asked me to leave mine with them so they could rework it. They had it repaired in less than three hours! I got it back on my boat and it looked brand new and started up like a champ! I highly recommend this place. Great customer service, super reasonable price, and a quality product. I am very impressed with these guys!

This guy has no integrity. I took my truck to A & R to get my oxygen sensors repaired after Firestone told me that they didn't work on wiring. I dropped my truck off at A & R Electric and they called me after the job was complete, he said, "We don't normally do this type of work but it was just the oxygen sensors so we went ahead and did it." This job cost $773.19. I had to take my truck to Nissan to get looked at because the issue I was having remained, the oxygen sensors code popped up during the inspection and I told them I had just got them replaced. I then took my truck to another shop to get work completed where once again, they told me the oxygen sensors were installed with universal parts instead of OEM and they were showing up as if something was wrong. They took pictures and said that the job was not done well. On, 3/8/2023, I called A&R to see if he could look into the oxygen sensors again and he refused. He became very argumentative, he stated that they do not do that type of work that I would have to take it elsewhere, and that he did not want to deal with it, proceeding with hanging up on me. Had A&R Electric been honest from the beginning and told me they did not do that type of work, I would not have left my truck there for them to work on it. I simply asked for them to look into the issue since they did the job but he refuses. They charged me $773.19 to do a job they should have never completed and for the issue to remain. The least you can do is drop the ego, review your work, and address the issue. If you can't do the job then say it from the beginning, save us all the trouble of having to deal with the back and forth but you chose to do it anyways. I would've been more merciful had he been pleasant, communicated like an adult, been professional, and had some etiquette.Edit to Update:Telling me to take my car elsewhere after you did the original work is not the solution. The logical thing to do is fix your work. Had you told me before you did it, that you didn't know what you were doing, I would've never left it with you. Karr Doctor never said anything close to that however three different shops did say that the O2 sensors were still showing up in the diagnostics which is why I wanted you to review your work but you can't even do that. So this review is just another one of your lies. I did receive was a call after you did the work stating that you don't normally do that work, but you did it this time because it was just the O2 sensors. Which is the ONLY reason I requested the review of your work.
