This was the first time my husband and I really relaxed in a long time. No children running around and being noisy. Just couples enjoying the peace and quiet. We stayed in the cottage behind the beach house. It was lovely. The pool was so refreshing and we spent every morning on the beach. There’s a shower and foot washing station right next to the pool so you don’t cart sand back to your room. There are beach chairs and umbrellas to take onto the beach. If you’d like to walk, it’s walkable to restaurants and coffee shops. Breakfast was amazing!

We got in bed was uncomfortable. It was cold and damp . My girlfriend. Woke up to use the restroom and found several bugs in the restroom . Ruined her trip. . The owner talked to way much and made every excuse in the book . Roaches . We want our money back 🤬we aren’t coming back ever again … and no breakfast when we were told to . Goodbye good riddance

The room SAIL AWAY was BUG infested: $500 for 2 night stay. The only accommodation made was “switching rooms” to their neighboring hotel which wasn’t much better. I’m going to be demanding a refund. DO NOT STAY HERE. I wokeup at 2am to find 2 giant roaches, then the following day: tiny bugs crawling all over the drapes above OUR BED. The owner came in to inspect & said: all we can do is move you to a different room, I don’t know what else to say.
It’s Sunday now & I don’t expect her to help me at all. I demand a refund. Ridiculous. $500 for roaches is crazy.

My husband and I decided to do a last minute weekend getaway to our favorite town…St.Augustine. We usually stay somewhere downtown, but this time we wanted relaxation and time away from the hustle and bustle. We stayed at the beachfront Inn in the Sailaway cottage this weekend for the first time and let me tell you we will definitely be back! The room was perfect. The location was amazing And the breakfast!! Well, it was delightful And delicious. We got to experience a weekend of peace, quiet, comfort, and romance we met the owner, Lauren, and the absolutely wonderful woman working there, Andrea. Such nice people and very welcoming. The pool was perfect and not crowded at all. Same with the Jacuzzi. In fact, both nights we basically had it all to ourselves…at least it felt that way. We have had many weekend getaways to Saint Augustine and this one is at the top of the list. I feel so refreshed and I didn’t wanna leave, but you have to go back to real life sometime. We will definitely be returning.

We stayed at the beachfront bed-and-breakfast in Saint Augustine Beach, Florida in March 2025. We found the staff to be very pleasant, and helpful. The room and the breakfast area were nice and clean. They were very roomy and pleasing to the eye. The establishment is owned by the hotel next-door. On the other side of the hotel is a mini golf course, that was fun.
We found that you can only see the beach from the breakfast area windows on the second floor of that building. Our room was in the building behind that building on a side street off of A1A. We did have a problem with the drain in our shower being clogged. However, when we reported the issue, it was resolved while we were eating breakfast. The parking spot was between two palm trees. It was very tight. If we had a bigger vehicle, I do not know if we would fit very well. There was no obvious faucet to clean off our feet after visiting the beach. So we drug in some sand.
That said, it was a little pricey. Other than that, we would recommend this bed-and-breakfast near the beach.

We stayed one night while on a business trip. The room was clean and comfortable. We stayed in a cottage. The property could use some repairs and updating. The bathroom is uncomfortably small. Staff is nice and let us check in a bit early which was greatly appreciated. Breakfast is served at 9am which is kind of late and inconvenient.

We really enjoyed this relaxing and welcoming B&B just past the dunes on St. Augustine Beach. It is located in a very quiet area with no high rise hotels or condos to detract from the beautiful setting on the beach. The rooms and the entire property inside and outside were clean, comfortable and well maintained. The historic hunting lodge main building has been preserved with modern renovations including a sunroom where we enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning prepared by gracious staff. The gardens were beautiful and invoked the feeling of being on a tropical island, especially since we had three very breezy days. This is the spot for privacy and feeling pampered at the beach!

They have a wonderful location. Highly recommend this property. Fantastic pool as well as easy access to the beach. The staff were all so courteous and helpful. Breakfast was top notch and delicious. Our room was comfortable, very clean, and well appointed. We are looking forward to staying here again.
Rooms: Our room was spacious, well appointed had a seating area of the main room. The bed was very comfortable and the A/C and ceiling fan kept us very comfortable.
Food & drinks: Daily breakfast was as good as any you could ask for. Healthy offerings as well as delicious main course. Included Tea/ Coffee and was more than enough.

What a gem! We stayed at Beachfront for a 2 night getaway and loved every moment. The property is gorgeous with all the flowers/plants, pool immaculate and wonderful lounge chairs and a short boardwalk to the beach. All around the area are wonderful spots to eat…A1A taco shop and Stir it Up are our favs! Most special is the actual house and friendly staff. Our room was cozy and spacious, decorated beautifully and well stocked. Amazing breakfast in the morning and loved talking with Andrea and Cindy (our fellow Floridian). We are leaving but have enjoyed our time and will be back many more times! We have already shared the spot with several friends. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Buyer beware! We booked online for this particular facility because of the beautiful pictures and glowing reviews. But the Beachfront is NOT what we got. As I write this I'm sitting at the La Fiesta motel, up the road, there is no scrumptious breakfast in a beautiful setting watching the ocean, we have 2 choices of a hard boiled egg, toast, bagel, or sausage biscuit. Don't know how this happened buy I would not recommend the Beachfront Bed and Breakfast in St. Augustine

Here we can say that we escape from everything, a quiet and relaxing place with everything we need, divine spaces to read, have a relaxed conversation or simply listen to the sound of the sea, the charming building preserves its original construction appropriate to current needs, the attention of their managers is as if grandmother pampered us, they cook delicious and are always attentive to serve you, help you and please all their guests. You hope to return every weekend.

We only stayed for one night, but it was a beautiful property, clean room and friendly staff. Hope to make it back for a longer stay in the near future!
