First time renting from this location and pleasantly surprised. A nice little spot for car rentals right off SR16. I was able to reserve a day rental at about last minutes notice for a decent price. Very nice 2024 model SUV vehicle provided and very clean / well maintained.
I went through Priceline which provided insurance for the rental but this place also offers their own insurance (which I did not know). Checked in online beforehand and actual check-in was super-fast! Returning the vehicle was just as easy. Very happy.
Would recommend!

I rented a Ford Expedition to drive myself and friends to the St Augustine, FL a good 7 hour drive. After there, the check engine light came on, indicating low air in tire. (14 psi!) I took it to a highly rated Goodyear service station. They immediately notified me that all 4 tires were bald! I called Budget who told me to take it directly to the nearest Budget for a vehicle exchange.
I exchanged for a Chrysler Pacifica (different category). When I got home & received my bill, I noticed I was charged $275 for a tank of gas on the Expedition.
When I returned home, I called Budget, and got a nice service rep who escalated the issue. She issued a coupon for free 3 day future rental. 3 days later I received an email noting the gas charge had been removed. However, no adjustment made for the change in vehicle category, or the risk to my passengers and me.
Very Disappointed ☹️

BLUF: filthy vehicle that wasn't even legal to be on the street and no attempt by management to remedy the situation.
Picked up an F150 which was the cheapest vehicle for a long rental. The exterior looked like it had never been cleaned. The interior had definitely never been cleaned. There was sand all over the interior, the windows and windshield looked like someone had sneezed all over them. The seats were dirty. There were French fries between seats and fast food straws and utensils in the consoles. The taillight was broken and when I called to get a different vehicle they told me that there was nothing available without upgrading. I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO PAY EXTRA TO GET A STREET LEGAL VEHICLE. I have NEVER been so upset with a rental company and I have rented with basically every major company out there.

The Ford Explorer we received was dirty, had an almost flat, front, driver side tire (psi 28) with a slow leak, and a loose piece underneath that loudly rattled our entire 800-mile trip. The company offered no resolution, refund, discount, or apology!!!!

Made a reservation to rent a Tesla (via Expedia) from this location. When I arrived, I was told they had no fully-electric cars to rent, whatsoever. In fairness, the manager did attempt to call around for one but no luck. Even still, not the most professional place. I'd go elsewhere or rent through Turo.

decent car rental, however the guy lied to my face about just about everything. they didn’t offer triple a discounts , they didn’t tell me anything about the services or fees and failed to tell
me about the rental i was renting. He kinda just threw me to the sharks and smiled in my face. They do not care at all about the consumer and only care about money and are heartless demons

made a reservation weeks in advance and then was told when i was headed to pick up the truck that they had no moving trucks left and there were none nearby. that puts people in a very bad situation when they’re ready to move and everyone is there to help

The best experience I've ever had with a stand alone Budget location. The office building was clean and the people behind the counter were very customer friendly.
