Custom Coatings and Restoration in St Augustine is the place to go for all your collision repair issues. Their work is so detailed but their prices are transparent and fair! Even though meeting the owners makes you feel like they are your hometown friends, when you see their paint booth set up and computerized paint matching system, you know they have state of the art equipment. The fact that they restore classic cars that are even in museums and paint helicopters is proof this place knows how to get the job done right! Highly recommended!

The top coat of the paint in the hood was peeling. So it was decided to paint the whole hood for a hefty price (white quartz paint). Unfortunately, they did not match the paint correctly. They provide a lifetime warranty but matching the paint should have been the priority.

St Johns Family Funeral Home; we took our Cadilac Hurse to Custom Coatings and Restorations to have several ares of bad rust around the windshield which was allowing water seepage when it rains and a bad place on one of the doors. They did an outstanding job fixing both areas and repainting the rusted areas. You can't go wrong with Custom Coatings, fast and great quallity work, thanks Custom Coatings!

overspray on top of sanding dust inside door jams and hinge area impossible to remove
took 2 weeks longer than estimated

I cannot say enough positive things about this body shop and restoration company. The very beginning these people were so nice and professional and thoroughly explained everything that we need to be done according to what I was asking for with my project car. I could have waited until the very end my restoration project but I just wanted to get this review out there as quickly as I could. The owner Craig and all the people that work with him are extremely professional and they did just amazing work on a vehicle that was 30 years old. If you have a project car or any vehicle that needs work to it I would highly recommend using them. This place is perfect for people who have muscle cars that want to do restoration as well.
