Lady with long Messy hair followed me out to my car staring at me like I was a thief when I asked her what her deal was. She said something and walked back inside. So when I felt offended I go in and tell her how I felt and she screams at me to leave the store. All i said was im not a thief for not being happy the the ice cream selection im alowed to see if they have my ice cream? Shouldnt feel pressured to purchase or get followed out to my car in the parking lot. VERY OFF PUTTING . Not my only bad encounter with her she keeps the worst dg I've ever seen. Can't even walk down the isles to shop. Everything still on rolling carts and not stocked. If you hate your job you should do something else!

This store never has what I need in stock. Without fail, every time I come in, there is something I have to go elsewhere for. It has too fall on staffing. Other Dollar General stores in the district are so much better than this one. I will choose to shop at them from now on.

This store out of any store in saint Augustine is the most definitely worst. The people and staff at this location have no standards of functioning or friendly business. The faces they make at you, the body language of showing their jobs suck is most disgusting view of this industry. The store have has no A/C for about 4 weeks not and the store not keep a clean safe environment the amount of boxes in the aisles are ridiculous and an unprofessional. This store staff and the general stock market and everything in there I can’t see how they’re open. The following week have been the worst of all, of the store hour and being manipulated by the workers. They setting hand written sign on the door staying there not open but there are inside at the counter and look at you. And when the store hour even are not being follow. The work are setting this store up for most failures to come.DOLLAR GENERAL COMPANY NEED TO GET ON THIS ASAP OR BBB. This justSad I can’t go a store of my choice bc the prices with inflation that close my house. Do better!

Reason for the review is due to not keeping up with lawn service and landscaping, their place makes our neighborhood looks bad in fact I have never seen it looks nice like other Dollar General which looks more attractive. This one is terrible.

Updated review. Store was remodeled, it's nice. Except they still have the same issue of stacking all the stock in the aisles, making it a tight fit in most places. If you want to use a cart, forget about it.

Recently just visited this newly built dollar general on February 16th, 2023. The valentines candy was marked as 50% off. Checked out and was only given 25% off. I pointed it out to the cashier. She didn't know the answer to why, so she went and talked to her Manger. Instead of putting her cigarette out and come inside to talk to me herself she middle man the cashier though this whole conversation. Long story short, she told me it was only seasonal which is why the candy only was 25% off and not 50% when in fact there was multiple signs posted all around the area saying it's all 50% off. Not 25% still not understanding how it's because it "seasonal" when valentines day was literally yesterday. Anyways, it wasn't worth agruing. I went to a different dollar general. Same deal, same signs, candy there was actually 50% off. I tried calling someone about this and was left on hold for an hour. Bottom line is, don't have a sign saying it's 50% off if your going to only giving 25% off.

Not sure what was up with the ONE employee in the store around 12:15p today. A couple of us were waiting upfront to check out so after a moment I went to find the female employee that was stocking shelves not too far away. She then complains that we were "the 5th people to yell" at you today as you're the only one there and can't man the register the whole time. Pssss.... Can't speak for the previous 4 but NO one raised their voice or said anything remotely negative to you. Get your attitude in check. You're in the service industry after all. Hope the rest of 2023 gets better for you. It's up to you at the end of the day to make that change.

Spent 15 minutes trying to get them to take the $5 D General coupon. It showed in my wallet .Bought extra items to spend $25. Coupon would not go thru and cashier just said, " sorry." Wasted my time and money.

Strange store..not enough help. Rude and nasty, ran off best employes..then made a 82 year old man hand carry a 25 pound propane tank to his car after taking shopping cart away from him.

My experience in this store was very bad. The shelves were cramped and had things overflowing and not in place. I can understand some of this in a store but this was ridiculous. In addition, the woman working was rude and was also shooing my friends and I out to close the store SEVEN hours early. Ridiculous.

Okay first of all this cashier that I dealt with was very friendly and helpful top notch all the way. But what really struck me as different is that this is by far the most well stocked, organized, fronted inventory Dollar general that I have ever been to! Y'all know what I'm talking about, we've gotten used to a certain level from Dollar general it is what it is, this one will flat out surprise you ?

Customer service is good, very little selection in the automotive aisle and it’s not a very well marked store as far as being able to find things/departments easily with signs.
