I was in town with my kids and husband visiting their Grandpa for the weekend. I bought $90 worth of merchandise and came in after our two day visit to return about $11 worth of merchandise WITH my receipt that we ended up not even opening due to weather and poor quality items. I didn’t even attempt to return the items I already opened even after realizing they were poor quality, and I was treated as if I were a criminal. I was rudely questioned on why I was returning “all these things” (literally 4 cheap items) and I attempted to return an unopened bottle of wine because it was also not needed, and told the associate I wasn’t sure of their return policy for alcohol, which I should’ve researched before asking because I was not only rejected but then accused of not being old enough to have the alcohol in the first place, even though I purchased it from the store just two days before with my ID, and after researching DG DOES return alcohol with the receipt at the location it was purchased. She demanded my ID even though she was not going to return it in the first place just to “make sure I was old enough.” Absolutely disrespectful for no reason.

Staff is Terrible you ask for a carton of cigarettes a d they act like u are the worst person in the world because they don't stock regularly. And my kids rode there scooters and had bookbags and immediately treated them as if they were criminals I understand now a days but I did my part as a parent and I don't appreciate how the manager (TJ) treated my children next time show some professionalism. They also try and rip you off they say it's on discount but really it's still the same price so beware they are EXTREMELY lazy. I think management isn't the best she could really use a reality check

This is the only dollar general that it’s clean and very nice personality, especially T.J the store manager and everything in the store is very organized, T.J she a lovely person! She’s the only manager that I experience that she’s very nice on the customer Thank you so much T.J

For the 2nd time , I have been to D General, and been unable to use their $5 off 25 coupon. I bought extra items, so that i could use it. First of all, there was one sweet lady at checkout. Line was very long. After 10 min, got to check out. I showed coupon, but had to enter my phone #. I entered 2 different numbers, but it would not link to my account. I went ahead and kept everything, because I felt sorry for cashier and line was long. In addition, the storewas very junky, and had ONE OTHER PERSON STOCKING. There were giant carts in several aisles, so i couldn't get through. I will NEVER SHOP THERE Again.
